No goggles up and goggles down COHI thought she only had the print, and something else. Besides, I'd rather do a battle damage CoH compared to an unmasked one.

Yes exactly. Was her head separate from her body for shipping purposes.Hahah dharper mentioned her.
By separately do you mean that she wasn't already connected? Cause she was in 5 separate pieces: the body, the head, two arms, and the cape.

This all started because I or someone else asked if a head came separately and as usual CSI stepped and made a comment trying to make us look dumb by saying that unless it has a COH its ALWAYS connected to the body. So we've been just thinking of situations where a statue without a COH has had that happen because, well why not.It might have to do with QC as well. Faces (women's in particular) seem to be the thing they have the most issues with. If the head isn't connected to the body it's a lot easier and more cost efficient to replace. It costs less to ship just a head and they still have a body replacment for someone because it wasn't attached. It gives better/cheaper replacement options.
I'd buy that. Remember when Ivy shipped and there were about 20-30 people with various hair and eye issues. They would have had to replace the whole statue. Harley on the other hand while barely heard a peep about issues if they need to make a replacement its pretty simple. It might have to do with QC as well. Can you think of a statue that came with a removable head only for shipping purposes and not a change-o-head?
Thanks Peedi. So it seems like there are a LOT of examplesFrom what I have:
Scarlet Witch PF has a removable head with no switch out but otherwise her cape couldn't be put on.
Hawkeye and Apocalypse PFs have removable heads with no switch outs.

With Apocalypse these probably didn't want attach the beautifully painted heads to the terribly painted bodies.
I think this is my favorite piece from SDCC this year. Maybe along with 1-2 others.
