I've seen it.
it doesn't drag.
3hrs goes fast.
didn't even need to worry about toilet breaks or intermission...it is just an all round awesome movie.

I won't say anything of plot or drop spoilers BUT...I really enjoyed it,and I'm a huge Star wars fan.
Also,at the sessions I went to,no sign of a TROS trailer.

I only went for a tactical pee once. Film is similar to IW in regards to being just so well paced that it doesn't feel like three house. I actually went to the bathroom with one hour left to go and remember thinking holy crap, it's almost finished?

Overall I really loved it, got teary in some parts. I think it wrapped nicely up a lot of characters stories. A lot of what happened is what I thought would and what others have said. Tony Stark sacrifices himself by snapping Thanos and his armies away, in the end killing himself also, with a very nice touching scene with Peter reminiscent of Infinity War. It's a lovely end to Tony's arc, and it's great that it pretty much centres around Tony and Steve. Steve finally gets his dance and kiss. He wields Mjolnir and Stormbreaker and kicks ****ing ass. He's great in this, everyone will want Cap from this film, this is THE Cap! There's a monumental great shot of Steve with his broken shield and heavily beaten up standing by himself confronting Thanos and his huge army. Professor Hulk has previously snapped everyone back into existence after they get all the infinity stones and at this moment a lot of portals open up and all who were lost flood in creating the Avengers army. We finally get Cap saying Avengers assemble!

Steve comes back to Falcon and Bucky as an old man. Not sure if he is staying in the future as an old man now as an advisory role, I think the idea is that he lived his life with Peggy, then came back to present time. He passes the shield to Falcon.

Thor -- my sort of favourite character. I get what they're doing with him and where they're going. He's been weakened heavily in this film and is the comedic relief. He's got zero power he did have pretty much. He's a visual pun as well as with his dialogue. And it does work. But I can't help but feel his character has been hard done by. On the flip side I do like his new character, sort of torn by it. Him wielding both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker should have been more epic, we should have seen him wreac havoc but he's nothing like he is in Ragnarok or Infinity War.

Black Widow :'(

Some people do remain dead in this film. Doctor Strange was wasted in a hilariously bad way.

A lot of the film feels like a long Ant Man film. But overall the tone, and pacing is great. Does not really feel like three hours.

The end battle is pretty epic.

Overall I think a lot of people are going to be very very happy. I imagine some people will be disappointed also, it does have its pits and isn't a perfect film. But as a culmination it wraps all the films up very nicely.

Captain Marvel I'm happy is barely in it, but when she is just gives off arrogance. Her power level... I don't understand it. She just flies through big ass ships and beats everyone down pretty much. Unbelievable that they weakened Thor so much and have this character as super powerful.

There's an all female shot in the end battle, which although lovely and badass... comes across as political and took me out of the film personally. In two minds about it, didn't feel natural.

But now it just feels like any problem they have in the future films they can always just time travel and fix things.

The whole time travel stuff I'm sure makes sense, but it all flew over my head.

Overall, can't wait to see it again. Late night musings, some opinions may change the more I think about it and see. As I type I'm more interested in this Thor, I just need to get over they I loved the character how he was and who he was become to an extent, but now they're all in with a very new portrayal - and I do like it's a culmination of all the parts that broke him as a person. They take the idea and run with it.

Hahha, not too sure to be honest. Depends on when you need to go. I mean yeah there are parts where you can go and not miss great bits and crucial bits. The middle part of the film which is pretty much we need to do this, now we're doing this. The only thing you'll have a chance of missing in these bits are some good scenes.

To be honest Russo's weren't wrong - every scene is needed and warranted and helps everything else. But of course there are dips in the film that are the better parts to go, but I wouldn't really say go on this part or this part.

I would suggest the best part to go to pee would be when Cap A is having a discussion roundtable with some randoms as they discuss the fallout of the Snap.
1 of the Russo brothers is in that scene.
Not really spoilers and you won't miss anything.

In my head I was thinking this scene but to be honest it's so far in the beginning anyone who needs to go at that time is pure and unadulterated weak sauce.

I really enjoyed EG but have mixed feelings especially about the first half. Don’t want to spoil anything for anything for anyone so won’t say much. Agree that it flies for a 3 hr film though.

Saw it at Imax, beautiful looking, no intermission and yes the TROS trailer was there. Seeing it again on Friday in 2D. 8/10 atm.

IW is basically a perfect 10/10 film for me.

We have an unprecedented Golden Week in Japan this year thanks to the new Emperor's coronation. TEN day break. I'm sure in that time some enterprising soul will upload a a watchable bootleg to the torrent sites.

I look forward to sitting in the comfort of my room watching this. Yeah, I could just go SEE it, but I'm a man of my word. Disney doesn't need my money anyway. And I can take as many pee breaks as I want!

Thanks to all those brave souls that gave us early reviews and spoilers.....spoiler tags are a wonderful thing. I love that nobody is being a weener and ruining this for everyone.

Just came back from watching this. It was a good ending to many of the arcs in the MCU. It's long, but it does not drag. As someone here already said, 3 hours flies by really quickly. I liked it getting out of the theater, but I think this is one of those movies that you'll need time to process a bit.

Where Infinity War was almost 1 action scene to the next, Endgame spends more time with its characters. Where IW was a Thanos story, EG very much focuses on the core 6 Avengers. It gives a lot of closure to some of the threads introduced in the various MCU films.

The movie was great but it wasn't perfect. My main gripe:

Generally, I don't like films that use time travel as a plot device. They generally end up breaking continuity and logic in most cases. I think Endgame's time travel arc does break a few stuff:

1. Loki gets away with the Tesseract at the end of Avengers, and they did not chase him down after. Even when they go back further back in time, they did not fix this issue.
2. Thor gets his hammer back around the middle of Thor 2. It never got returned after
3. Past Thanos dies in the future. What does this do to GotG1, GotG2 and IW?
4. Past Nebula dies. Why is present Nebula alive?
5. Past Gamora stays in the present, or maybe she died (she goes missing). What does this do to GotG 1 and 2 as well as IW?

Not a gripe for me, but I imagine it could be elsewhere, that all girl shot will probably shake a few heads where stuff like that can be political. Over here, we don't care. It looked epic anyway.

Now what I liked:

1. The start of the movie was utterly unexpected.
2. I can't wait to get a Rescue figure!
3. Cap with Mjölnir!
4. Great send-off to Cap. He finally got the ending he deserved.
5. I loved Thor here. We better get a Thor "figure" too!
6. The final fight showing how they all needed to work together to beat Thanos was epic.
7. Seems Scarlet Witch is more powerful than Captain Marvel. She could have single-handedly beaten Thanos (CM failed).
8. Rescue... Finally Rescue! That armor looked really good. That epic shot of her with Iron Man... I think that's one of my favorite shots in the MCU despite it being a split second.
9. Thor with the GotG. This will be awesome!
10. Tony's death scene wasn't as impactful as it could have been. I remember in IW there were audible gasps of shock in the theater as Thanos stabs Tony with his own sword. None of that here. However, the final send-off to Tony where the majority of the main MCU characters attended (actually, I think they were all there?) was heartfelt and deserved. This was more emotionally impactful (to me at least) than his actual death scene. I was hoping Tony would have gotten a happy ending where he'd grow old with his family.

As for whether or not you should stay for the end credits:

There were no after credits scenes at our screening. There was however the sound of a hammer and anvil at the end reminiscent of Stark's hammering to build his armor in a cave.

I'll probably try to watch this again if I have the time. 3 hours is a fair chunk of my day so I'll have to schedule that.

Saw it... damn, just damn, i want my money back, this was terrible... is never gonna be said by anyone who actually saw it... It's probably the single best conclusion to any series.

The ending was perfect. Its perfect closure while leaving the door open for more mcu.

Just expect to be on an emotional ride from start to finish.

Also, btw...go see it... stop reading and go see it. if you have go see it again.. that simple

2. Thor's hammer gets returned by cap when he heads back in time at the end, he has it during that moment
3. Past Thanos dying does nothing to the past, it was explained early on that this film and universe is not using standard film rules, theres only 1 timeline and changing the past wont change anything since its changed from the future, making it future events not past events.
4. Past Nebula dying, again wont affect the future , because its a future event not a past event. Think of it this way. if you are in the future and killed baby thanos, adult thanos wont die because you created a second timeline then yours where baby thanos was randomly killed off, but your timeline goes on with thanos being alive.
5. Past Gamora staying in the present is the exact same thing. shes from a different timeline then the main mcu, gamora died and this is a different one, her future is our present .this version of Gamora wont live out anything the first one did since shes not the same Gamora...
   you questioning all of this tells me you dint pay full attention since it was all explained. also in case youre wondering. how come Cap was able to stay back in time and live out his life with Peggy, well its simple, he went and stayed, so he was there for all the MCU films, he was always Peggy's husband , he dint change the past, he simply went back to where he was always meant to end at and finally got his dance.

At that point, there were 2 instances where the Tesseract was taken, one in the 70's and one in 2012. Cap had the 70's cube but not the Avengers one. It could be argued that he went back to 2012 to stop his team from going after the cube too but at this point, its speculation.

You are probably right there as the quantum realm jumps is not limited by space too (they can jump to anywhere at any point in time). So yeah that's plausible.

The issue here is that these are past characters jumping to the future. The Ancient One explained it that by jumping back, they are only fixing their future but leaving the past in potential disaster should it branch off. They needed to return the stones to ensure that the past moves to the future without branching off into a separate timeline. If returning the stones was so important, why wouldn't instrumental characters in past events be as well? Does that merely apply to the stones because of how they control space-time/reality?

Now this would be less of an issue had the main timeline characters not interacted with the key characters involved towards Infinity War. They could have just returned the stones and the timeline would progress as normal. This won't be an issue for the main timeline if the past characters jumping forward in time have no relation to the current timeline's past. The way this film frames that, there are now 2 branches in the timeline:
- The main timeline we see in the MCU.
- A separate timeline where Thanos and co suddenly disappear skewing all future events for that time branch.

you questioning all of this tells me you dint pay full attention since it was all explained.

Rewatching this might change my opinion on that if I missed some details. On my first watch however those are issues that popped into my head (and yes that includes the Back to the Future reference and all the other film time travel references).

No I never wondered that part (hence it wasn't in my gripe list). Cap living his life by going back to the past makes perfect sense, that's why I mentioned his ending was a very good send-off.
