Any President figures?

Hey all,

I knoe that there are multiple Obama figures floating around but I was wondering if they have any other Presidential collectables like a Washington or a Jefferson?

Sideshow made an awesome George Washington figure as well as an Abraham Lincoln. There was a company that had some other decent predient figures as well. Jefferson, Jackson, and Bush were good enough that I bought them, as well as a Ben Franklin. There were alot of others (Kennedy, Nixon, both Roosevelts, Reagan, Clinton), but I felt the likenesses were off.

wow how times have changed....$40 for that Lincoln MSRP. You can't even get a body with nothing on it for $40 now.

Yea those prices are sweet. Too bad no collectible unless you get it from Toys R Us is that sheap...and even then you're lucky. I was able to get a Sideshow George Washington Sideshow Exclusive MIB. I'm not a huge fan of the Lincoln sculpt but I may get him eventually too.

There was a line of 12" figures called "Talking Presidents" - they had many different presidents (as well as some first ladies and other historical figures). The company is (as far as I know) out of business, but for a while they were selling the presidential suits loose. Many of the cheap 1/6 scale suits available from various eBay sellers are the same suits as the Talking Presidents figures had.

I wish I bought one of those suits when they put them up. I wanna get the Obama that Hot Toys did, but need a suit for him. Maybe I'll just go all the way and buy a whole new figure.

I know. I bought that back in the day for my sister who is a big civil war buff. Now, a figure of a president would at least be double.

The Talking Presidents sculpts and clothes werent bad. Before they went under, they couldnt give them away! Now, theyre expensive as heck. I have their Washington, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, and JFK. Theyre not bad, but the sculpts do need a repaint.
