I'm only three episodes into the show, and I like it quite a bit. I'd be tempted to collect these, but I really only collect G1 type stuff when it comes to Transformers. More of a space issue than anything else.

Yup. The Optimus for that set is a bit crap, but the humans and Megatron make it worth it.



No leaders have been announced yet, but hopefully they will be coming. A Unicron that can interact with the Cyberverse figures would be cool. Or Trypticon, if the Nemesis turns out to be him.

You're missing out Sam, Prime is a great show. Starts off rocky then it really kicks in high gear towards the end of the season.

i'll be getting most of those Prime toys. especially the main characters. might pick up the one-shot characters too. that Skyquake looks pretty cool. i wish the Arcee had wings on her back instead of her windshield though, like in the cartoon.

I grew up watching G1 and I'll be the first to admit that TF Prime>G1 cartoons. At first I was like meh with the design but now I love it. At first I was thinking wth did they do with soundwave, but after watching the season finale show I think he's baddass. Megatronious is how he should be, a beast. I only wish Ironhide were in it. But I like what they did with the main Autobots team. I'll be picking up season 1 DVD when it comes out.

i watched the season finale yesterday. it was awesome. it's the only TFs i've been able to get into since G1. great stories and great characters. and the voice work is superb. can't wait to see season 2. hopefully Starscream returns and brings some friends with him.

I actually liked the designs from the get-go. I guess I like the mix of the G1 and movie designs.

The thing with me is, when it comes to collecting Transformers, after another year or two Hasbro will get bored with this, and revamp the franchise once again... That's why I'm hesitant to invest myself fully into collecting Transformers, other than G1 type stuff.

As I get more into the show, we'll see if that changes. You never know. I'd certainly get some of the Beast Wars characters if they ever made decent figures of them, so there are always exceptions...
