I have no recollection of the English music, but when I heard the music on those, I was 5 years old again. The only things I gave a damn about back then was Godzilla, Batman, Star Wars, and Battle of the Planets.

I find I read more manga then I watch anime. A few of the series I read have mangas available but I just havent cared to watch them.

Gurren is good. Not sure about the tears part.

I read and watch. I also read light novels like the Slayers. The only problem with manga is that the releases can stall or stop completely. Gunslinger girl and Yotsuba&! are two examples.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood just ended this week. The final episode went up on Funimation last night and I watched it. overall I think it was a good series that really is the more ambitious and complete show when comparing both series.

The original 2003 FMA and its feature film conclusion The Conquerer of Shambala had some great moments and interesting takes on Equivalent Exchange, but overall the show felt too narrow and convoluted, especially the parts in Shambala.

FMA Brotherhood had scale, it had a large cast of interesting characters that were better fleshed out this time around. It's worth the watch even if you've seen the previous series, actually no, ESPECIALLY if you've seen the previous series.

I'm interested in seeing what the creator of FMA will do now. Whatever her new project will be, it has big shoes to fill.
