It's odd, because I have a distinct memory of Spunkmeyer saying that line, but I checked both versions of the film and it's not there. It is in this draft of the script I found online. Is it possible it's in the deleted scenes somewhere?

We all know Aliens has no deleted scenes, only the ones re-instated into the Special Edition (Spunkmeyer had no new scenes) and the Burke cocoon sequence that never made it into any version. Any other "deleted scenes" have never even been seen or heard of.

From the 1st draft May 1985:

GROANS echo across the chamber.

SPUNKMEYER: Arrgh. I'm getting too old for this ^^^^.

SPUNKMEYER says this sincerely, though he must have enlisted underage not long ago. Looking surly, DRAKE sits up. He's young as well but street-tough. Nasty scar curling his lip into a sneer.

DRAKE: They ain't payin' us enough for this.

DIETRICH: Not enough to have to wake up to your face, Drake.

But yes, an Alien day is awesome. Did it 3 times, very fun to do. I also did an A/P athon on Christmas eve....you know why...but that was also coo.
