Anyone else really diggin' these?

New toy line from Kit Lau, made by Ori Toy. 3.75" figures, and really cool transforming vehicles with great paint jobs. Very WWR/3 A Toys/Ashley Wood feel to this line. I currently only have the Sol Commander - Pilot figure on pre-order right now, but I could likely see myself ordering much more. I can't wait to get one of the un-helmeted figures! Tons of character in them!

Loads of info on the toys, artist, and story here:

Have seen them up close..they really do look exactly like the pictures. superb paint job. looks good too.

I'm glad that there are plenty of videos and in hand stories about this line. Really is promising.

Thanks for sharing the vid!

So close to putting my name in for a Speeder MKII pre-order!

Yea- these look awesome... just a bit pricey.

I kinda have split feelings about the pricing. On one hand the Strongholds and Speeder MKII seem just about right. But on the other, the 3.75" figures really seem on the high side.

Wasn't really into transforming type toys (although the Deathstar / Vader one was pretty cool) in the past.. but Ori Toy's Stronghold figure looks excellent!.. might have to pick one of these up. :rock

Having watched the Youtube review (tnx Illproxy) ..not sure why Ori Toy's put LEDs into two internal 'screens' for the cockpit, rather than external lights.. seems like a strange choice.. Hey we are giving you LEDS.. YAY!.. but not where you can see them.. Whut?.. shurely shome mishtake?!.. paying for those, I am...

Completely agree. The screens in the cockpit look great, and really add to it, but I'd have appreciated exterior light much, much more! So many options on a large vehicle like the Strongholds. Flood lights, marker lights, targeting cameras... Lots of missed opportunities.

Because of the nice cockpit details, I'd be tempted to pose the Stronghold being worked on. Would be great to see figures crawling all over it, with the pilot figure lounging in the cockpit staring at his pinup poster inside.

I'd love to see some female pilots as well. Fingers crossed that this line expands later on. There's some really nice looking art on the blog.

I am a huge fan of the Acid Rain line...the paint, construction and detail on these figures and vehicles are just as good as the prototypes shown. Here are several shots from my ARW collection, hope you like them.

Not bowled over so far, but an interesting start. Liking the Speeder MkII particularly. Be interesting to see how the transforming thing develops - whether it leads to some more complex or striking "bot modes", or not.
