Re: A Jedi Mind trick....."Updated 21st July , Indiana Jones Adventurebilt Fedora "
Jedi, I also want to say that the Harrison Ford fedora is real and the Christopher Lloyd signed prop is real. Stick to items that come from sources like that. The Lloyd has a pic of him signing. Celebrity Authentics has contracts direct with celebrities. Other dealers that have direct contracts are Official Pix and Cool Waters Productions. You'd be much better off investing in those kinds of items. Then you have PSA/DNA, which is the best third party authenticator, in my opinion. Also, I'd be happy to authenticate any item for you that you come across before you buy; just send me a PM!
In addition to my Avatar poster signature study, I want to give you more proof that these posters come from a forgery ring. Please keep an open mind, and look only at the autographs.
A quick note on these "studio COAs"... one way to tell they're completely bogus is to look at a Man of Steel and a Iron Man 3 COA:
Look at how the general language and layout of both COAs is nearly identical. This is suspiciously close for one COA supposedly having been made by Warner Bros., and the other by Disney.
By the way, one the Man of Steel COA, those "studio executives" spelled Laurence Fishburne's name incorrectly. You'd think they'd know better, seeing as they know him personally and have spelled his name properly on all other Man of Steel items. Big studios NEVER mess up their actor's names; it's a BIG no-no, and there are people who are paid to check for that stuff. The forger just didn't pay enough attention, just like how he didn't pay attention to getting the signatures right.
By the way, on the Iron Man 3 COA, the signature in the bottom middle was signed by the same hand as the signature on the bottom right. Look at those "D"s, followed by nearly identical vertical and horizontal figures.
Finally, chances are "Dennis Maguire" on the Iron Man COA and "Diane Nelson" on the Man Of Steel COA were signed by the same hand, with a different slant given to try to mask the fact that it's the same handwriting. Look at those "D"s, and the overall structures of both signatures. Look at how the respective "M" and "N" of their last names look nearly identical.
I'm not going to go searching for them, but I guarantee that there will be similarities like this to all of the new "COAs" they're issuing with these forgeries.
