I wasn't on last years, but only because bg didn't want her cosbaby monkey in chat so she gave it to me. It cost me more to ship than it is worth, but I it kept me off the list! ( and thanks again bg, she's free from this list now!)

Oddly, I'm not too bothered by it. Life can be too distracting. I haven't had much time for Spook this year. Heck, I haven't even had much time for my usual lurking the board this year either. I haven't been able to afford anything at all for my collection in quite a while, so maybe a part of me is just trying not to think about the things I can't have. Still, I've entered almost every contest I've had the slightest interest in (and got to in time). Gotta have a bit of hope.

Anyway, the losers are the cool ones so winners. (Kidding, kidding!)

Spook Day 6 - STILL a loser. (Beatles' "I'm a Loser" playing in my mind)

Losers Journal Day 6: woke up on the floor. So close to escape yesterday, but yet so far. Found a box that I grew strangely attached to only to have someone yell "NO" and grab it from my hands. apparently I cannot take a box marked for the US only, I don't know who the us is yet, but the box was taken running from the room, and I saw the glint of metal as they got outside and took a sword from the box.
Weapons, I could have been armed.
so close.
The elusive mistress floated through last night, I was so dazed by her unrelenting beauty that I just stammered as she asked questions of us. Some more alert, some more rested than I, managed to give her the responses she was looking for. She weighed them down with more of the boxes and escorted them out.
We were so close. Jen is still here with me. She's behind the bar, I think she's found some old candy there. I'm not sure if she's going to eat it now, or try and use the sugar for a boost to get past me when she needs it. She's got that hungry look in her eyes. Like me, she's been here to long.
Boba left. He forgot his cat. It may not make the day if we can catch it.
Got no loser emails yesterday....miss them, feeling so lonely here now.
