nothing like coming home to five pages about a stupid sign, that no one in this thread actually has in their yard :yess:

Or would ever put in their yard.

I know I would never do that, as much as my neighbors piss me off at times, I'm not going to make it even worse.

I've seen lots of variations of this before posted mainly by people on Facebook. Alot of the people posting it, have neighbors with guns, so I think by and large its just supposed to be funny. I think its basically a novelty item, but theres always a nut going to get upset over anything someone else finds funny.

Pretty certain he was talking about you, DA and the like, and your insensitivity of using this horrific tragedy as an excuse to troll a bull____ agenda.

Wow, I finally understand how completely self-deluded you are. Any one can see you have been aggressively and continuously pushing an agenda since page one. This is your usual pattern of behaviour where you relentless troll certain thread, whilst inevitably accusing others of the same.

But please, go ask Dave directly what he meant. It might be a valuable reality check for you.

For some of the people on here that said all police are bad or whatever. Here's why they are so strict. This is why they have procedures they need to follow. It's unfortunate but this is what they face. The news doesn't cover these to the extent they do when its so happens to be a bad cop doing something wrong. Which is sad.

That's for sure. Just like I would never want to be a teacher in this day and age, I sure they hell wouldn't want to be a cop.

Speaking of reality check, I've actually addressed the tragedy in several posts here, unlike you, who has not, yet you continually troll and have with every single one of your 21 posts in this thread, squirting diarrhea out of your fingertips about gun control, using this horrific tragedy as a soapbox for your extremely pathetic and shallow POV which has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with this incident. :wave

Attacking me will not clarify Dave's meaning any sooner.

The reality is that you are already being called out for your abuse of this tragedy in the second and third posts on this thread.

The reality is also that I have 22 posts on this thread as of this one, you have 138. Devilof76 has 161, Niltusk 119, csi 253, hoodonit00 79, Bad Moon 94, hairlesswookiee 107...the gun nuts have spoken.

Make that 22 trolling posts from a troll who has yet to even acknowledge a tragedy took place. :monkey1

How can I be guilty of "using this horrific tragedy as an excuse to troll a bull____ agenda" if I simultaneously fail to "acknowledge a tragedy took place"? :dunno

By the way I checked and it took you 40 posts to call this a "tragedy". Oops.

I see that yet again you are incapable of having a dialogue and instead resort to name calling. It a shame you feel the need to be so childish in retort to people who disagree with you. I believe in my 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, guess I am a nut :cuckoo:

Btw, believing in your right to own a gun is not mutually exclusive of thinking the Aurora shooting was a tragedy. And weren't you one of the nutjobs in the other thread that was blaming society for what this guy did rather then holding him accountable for it?

I agree, and IMO people that have this hatred of police are usually the ones that have a history of getting in trouble for doing something they shouldn't be doing, and don't like someone telling them what to do.
I don't even own a gun.

Grief/Bereavement Counseling, Cancer Support Groups, Rape/Sexual Trauma Counseling, PTSD Counseling.

So because you've never been to counseling that means you're better than people that have?

all of those you have listed are traumatic events. no it doesnt make me "better" but i am surely not as "troubled".

no "normal" person goes to a psychiatrist for the hell of it.

no "normal" person goes to a psychiatrist for the hell of it.

All people that are in or have been in Counseling were "normal" until they exhausted their coping mechanisms for whatever is "troubling" them.

~~Most Psychiatrists aren't directly counseling people. A majority of them provide psychiatric evaluations/assessments, medication management, and clinical supervision.

sorry but that is the biggest pile of ____ ive heard. if you go to see someone to "cope" you obviously have emotional problems. there's no other way about it.

No one goes to a psychiatrist because they are having a GOOD day. rofl.

Cool story man. That's a very judgmental and narrow minded attitude to have towards people without knowing much about them.

so youre telling me people go to pysciatrists because theyve had awesome days? please elaborate mr non-narrow minded.

so what good and HEALTHY reason is there behind seeing a certified psychiatrist? I myself have never seen or been prescribed to see a psychiatrist in my life.

You have a negative stigma of mental health as it is. By stating you've never been "prescribed" to see a psychiatrist and that "normal" people don't go to counseling is judgmental. People aren't "prescribed" for a mental health counselor, they are usually referred to them. Very much like a primary care physician putting in a referral to a ENT specialist.

Unless a person is mandated by the court to see a Psychiatrist, they are all voluntarily going. A person can choose to go, or choose not to go. And not everybody is going because they're not having an "awesome" day. That's a straw man argument.

and FYI, yes it is a big deal because in Hawaii and probably california...if youve been to a psychiatirst of any kind, you will not pass your background check to purchase any firearms. No matter how non-chalant you may think these visits are.

Link to back this up?? Most states it says "involuntarily hospitalized to an inpatient setting."

A normal background check won't pull up your mental health records as they are protected under HIPPA (Health Information Privacy Protection Act). Only a court order can release these without the patient's permission.

calling it anything else is trying to cover up the fact that youve been to a psychiatrist in the first place. we are adults here, not children. stop trying to pull bull____ terminology and paint a different picture.

And yes, I've been to a Psychiatrist. I get my health care from the Veteran's Affairs, and EVERYBODY that does will be be screened in mental health at least once.
