The best thing about the Sideshow Dewback is that the sculptors incorporated the best elements of the ANH original puppet (head, neck, shoulders, and saddle), and the CG model of the SE. But they took it a step further, and actually blended both versions in such a way that it looks like a real animal. It's exactly the way I imagined the Dewback would look when I was a kid and saw the original ANH a the drive-in. It's funny that this figure/statue that we all are ga-ga over never actually appeared on screen until after this was made by Sideshow. The Dewback in the season 1 episode of The Mandolorian, "The Gunslinger," looks just like the Sideshow Dewback.
