Right trying this blog thingy but no idea what the heck I am doing. But I am always up for learning so....

Console...

After some thought I have decided to paint the lines on. so masking it up. Its really making me think.

Also started on the power throttle. It is a bit big but if I tried to get every thing correct I would be here till I go blind, bald and mad... Where are my glasses....wheres my hair good job I am not mad ahhh look out for the fish, they are coming to get me.

Still have no idea if this is what bogging is all about but i guess we will see.

So wifes, hard at working planning for next week at school, son is with his gramps playing with model boat (cool) I should be planning... but I am not

WOW! That looks amazing so far! I can't believe you're really going to make the console 3-D! I thought you were just going to print out the graphics and have a big sticker! And that throttle is brilliant!

Its tricky at the moment. Being back at work after the summer break is really hard. I had forgotten how chuffin tiering teching is. But I am determined to do a little bit everyday.

Dorgmal, I got out my Falcon blueprints from that set that DK Books puts out, and I found out that the cockpit actually sort of has 3 levels. The bottom where the back chairs are then a step up from there and then another step where Han and Chewie's chairs are. I don't know if you worked that detail into your build but if it's not too late into the construction and you really want to make it as accurate as possible you might want to pick this up. https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Blueprints-Ultimate-Collection/dp/0756638690 I'm sure you can find it in in the UK as well. It has a nice layout of the center console too. Keep up the excellent work!

Heres the latest pics of the console. I think the main front area is done. There is not a lot of detail on the actual falcon dash. Gonna put lots of little knobs on chewies side!

The DK BP's aren't that accurate. The ones I sent DS are from the original deckplans for the set and they have measurements.
