It's hard to say. I feel since he was such a great design and a standout character that they made a bunch. Also since being a droid/robot he would have a huge demand even for those that don't mainly collect SW figs. But on the other hand who knows what HT's production formula is now? Especially after the mass production of TFA troopers that didn't sell as well as they thought. Snowies, RO Stormies and RO Vader sold out pretty fast while the Deathtroopers seem to be lingering around.
I think i read that you can use pending RP's somehow. Thought I saw that in the fine print somewhere. I may be wrong on that though.

I just wish they'd release a Krennic to get people to buy up the rest of those Deathtroopers.......And so I have a Krennic !!!!

Hard call with K2 -- I don't think there's a big demand for RO toys in general, especially $200+ figures which is money you spend on something you truly love.

But as mentioned, its a robot and robots are hugely popular in Asia, so perhaps they made more of these than the usual RO batch. Perhaps.

Look at it this way, this is one of the few figures in a long time that is priced fairly low considering what you get. IF this was an OT figure it would be $269.99. Also, it's a damn good standalone robot that just looks cool whether you know the movie or not.

Death Troopers are still available on ebay but only the Specialist is just now starting to drop significantly in price. The Deluxe is holding strong.

Will the new Star Wars generate new interest in all things Star Wars? YES. It always does. Will that sell more $200+ dolls? Probably.

Picked mine up yesterday. I love it. I did not have any issues with the lights or anything. He is my first Star Wars Universe 1/6th figure.
I have that Mondo Iron Giant as well, it is one of my best all around figures.

Tried adding more from figures that had already shipped but it wouldn't let me. Think I have to wait for the 40 days from either ship date or delivery date.

:duff Thanks, guys. Yeah, it's really a mystery which figures they decide to go bigger on. You'd think it's the fan favorites but even then it's hard to gauge based on past experience--ANH Vader they seemed to make a ton, but the Rogue One Vader they made so few. Yoda is still sitting around.

I'm gonna hold off for now and just keep an eye on the stock levels. Just had 3 figures arrive in the past 2 weeks alone so probably smarter to spread out the fun of getting a new figure a bit if possible.

SOoooo guess who arrived today !!! Friendly group droid shot.

I received my K2-S0 last week, but, alas, the light up eyes not not work.

So Sideshow sent me a replacement!

This issue with the lights had me open up my K2 and double-check. It initially wouldn't light but I jiggled the batteries/connection and it came on nice and BRIGHT. Really bright LED.

Tempted to get this, I've wanted it since they shown the prototype but I already have Jyn, Daredevil two week notices plus I bet the Punisher will ship soon as well...

Great pictures in here! This one is tempting to go with my other droids and upcoming deluxe Jyn.

Sorry if this has been answered but is the light switch under an annoying flap like normal?
