All I know is that RO HT stuff is going to sell better than TLJ HT stuff. Seems a lot of interest in RO has come from those disappointed with TLJ.

I have no idea, I've only been shopping for the Deluxe -- and the deluxe fluctuates heavily. I've seen them go for under retail and I've seen them go for well over retail. Somewhere between $230 - $260 seems to be the sweet spot right now.

Which would you consider the "standard" anyway? The original without rangefinder or the stripped down version with rangefinder?

I sold my deluxe on evil bay on a 99p auction-ended up selling it for £275-$392

I think the regular costume is much better. The pouches in deluxe and specialist hinder the armor.

I have the Deluxe and was contemplating the Standard with shorter cooler cut off blaster. Best I've seen is $210 in China at a shop.

Man, a Deluxe Death Trooper that I was given a 2nd chance on (for $232 plus $20 ship) and passed on just sold for $283 plus $20 shipped.

Damn, TLJ has made these things red hot now. Gonna be a long wait for a good deal.

Nope. Still shopping. But the prices are out of my range now.

At this point, I'm waiting for a rare deal (like some retailer finding a case like that guy with the SS Snowtroopers a few years back) or getting lucky on ebay.

Or.... my fav option... HT offering a new Death Trooper with Krennic in a 2-pack. Hear that HT, take my $460.

I regret not getting normal specialist DT version on BBTS when pull the trigger on the deluxe DT, as I decided to grab SS Tie pilot on sales at TimeWalker store to pair with DT deluxe instead

Which one was that, the first release?
I know of a place that has it for $225 right now. Their shipping quote was $26 for me though that changes based on where you are.

The specialist version without the diorama base and storm trooper little doll.

Yeah these different versions get confusing. The first version called the Specialist has the shoulder paldron and ammo pouch but no rangefinder on the side of the helmet also only has the one type of rifle. This one:

That's why I never mentioned it to you as an affordable option. I knew it would be high, though the last time I bought a full figure from Toy Square was 2006 and the shipping was $19, which I thought was really high for the time. You're better off just waiting for Popcultcha to have it on sale or a deal through Ebay at this point.

Popcultcha is the best. Well packaged and delivery is faster from Australia than from Sideshow.
