My wrists situation after Clipper fix :

The loctite glue worsened the material but now is rock solid and very hard at the touch.
Once you put the gloves on the fit is perfect:

So now there will be friction between the hardened glue and the plastic hands?

I'm sure we will get some chipped glue shavings from that.

I did the Clipper fix on the gloves too so now they "rest" on the glue but I can rotate them without force

The issues with the wrists concerns me. Paid for this figure before these issues were identified. Had I known of the peeling prior to purchase would have not gone through with it (not that Hot Toys planned it). Wanted a 1/6 Deadpool, but not with an issue I have to fix as soon as I open the box. Feels like a car that requires a recall, but the company doesn't.

BLUF: What is the feasibility of SS allowing me to move the funds elsewhere for a different figure?

They won't allow you to move the funds. If you call, they usually will return your NRD for an issue like this, and refund your money, but they can't move the money around between orders.

Just wait for the figure, and as soon as you get it, pose it and do whatever it is you intended to do with it. Change hands, etc etc. Don't worry about the defects and see if the problem develops.

As soon as that happens, pack it up, and request a return and a full refund. None of the "well give you $5 and keep it" type of BS. A full blown refund with shipping on them.

The day I HAVE TO fix a figure, right out of the box is the day I would have lost my mind.

That is exactly what I'm doing.

Yeah that was Course of Action #2. see what type of condition he is in and then make determination. Tough place for SS. I'd imagine they are expecting some hell with this issue.

Yeah, I'm tempted to see what i get. Absolutely hate the thought of having to use glue etc. on a figure the price of a car payment.

It looks like the ball joint is stuck in place now, can it still move? When mine comes, I was thinking about taking the ball joints out, then apply the glue to the material.

Seems like i have had glue something on a lot of my figures (especially IM) out of the box. I think that's why i'm not sweating this to much. It's a little more than the rest and something we should not have to do but nothing major.

When the glue eventually chips or cracks, would the pleather do so as well?
And what happens when/if the peg breaks and ball joint is glued to the pleather?

I think I'm just going to use some caution prior to adding a substance or modifying the wrists.

I change the poses of my figures fairly often, so, we'll see how that works out.
