Hmmmm, first of all i am NOT a huge fan of surprises... That real hair IS a big surprise. I can not deceide yet if i like it more with the real hair or not. Looks like it is a tad to much hair. More like Captain Picard than Yoda... The original puppet's hair was wilder, thinner and puffier. This looks so straight and thick. Don't know if we can remove some of it to get the look closer. And because its so full it looks very very white... Actually i was ok with the sculpted hair before and i really like to be ASKED for changes before i have pre-ordered something....

I think the hair is great. Also looks like they have altered the drooping cheeks which is another plus. Glad I pre ordered this little dude! :clap

Yeah, maybe the hair can be futzed like with Chewy. Looking forward to more pics!

Nice! Can't decide if I want to get him yet or not. Depends on the budget. Looking good so far though.

Tons of images up on HT Facebook. I dig it.

Yeah I think it's great they've gone with real hair. It can be "Styled" with some product...(like brill cream for that Travolta look).

Am also digging the 2 head sculpts. I guess they need that to justify the price. But very cool.

Bring on more Celebration goodness !!

Yoda came out fantastic and the added real hair was a great choice!

I think having rooted hair has pushed this over the edge for me. Although seeing the head makes me wish it somehow had pers or some way to interchange the eyes.

He looks great and I called it months ago that that this would be stellar.
Watch his sellout begin!

The hair looks a little odd in some pics, but I'm guessing it's just a matter of futzing.

I wonder what the reasoning was for painting his nose like that? It's the same color as the rest of his face in the movie, but for some reason HT painted the nose a darker green. Almost reminds me of a greenish Chewy nose.

That looks beautiful! When I was little, I wasn't really a fan of Dagobah, but once I grew older, I understood that what happens there is the heart and soul of the entire Star Wars saga. Cannot wait for Master Yoda to be released and to see your completed diorama, Rzeznikk. :rock
Thanks man! I can't wait either! Won't he long now!

Looks to me like the hair is just glued on. Weird about the green nose. Not sure if I can justify the cost for this guy, but I really want a Yoda!

Yeah, I don't own the Medi or the SSC, so definitely need a Yoda. I'm hoping that there'll still be availability after the ton of in-hand pics have showed up.

The hair does look slightly odd, but these are majorly zoomed macro photos, and I guess glued on is really all they can do unless it's part of a fur fabric like Chewy. It's a nice surprise from HT, and proof they really will make major changes between proto and production.:clap
