Huge improvement over the original prototype. The details were good but it was just off overall.

The problem with the wired cape is long term storage. If the figure is left in the box as large amounts are(resellers, eBay, storage ect) the cape could end up with lots of issues. Wired capes have been discussed internally by hot toys but after stress testing and artificial aging both on display and posed and in storage there where just to many issues. It also adds a significant amount of labor(time) to a part of the figure that previously had very little man hours required. So they had decided, and it can always change, that up till this point wired capes offer much more problems then upside.
