Ripley is being shipped from Hong Kong not the US, so those who ordered early may also get it shipped from HK.

Ordering early has nothing to do with it. If you live in Europe and Asia, you get yours from Hong Kong. I guess it saves Sideshow on shipping.

i had different cats for last 27 years of my life.

i'm pretty sure it was a chestburster before bosses demanded to resculpt him into a cat.

huh, i've never noticed before that those promo photos have her dressed differently from the movie.

There are several photoshoots where she's wearing different stuff under the flight suit. I'm assuming they were done post-filming as well, because several parts are missing. In that shoot the executive officer insignia has fallen off.
