1/6 CGL Toys - Magneto and Professor X Collectible Figures

Finally got my Magneto. It's my first Non-Hot Toys Figure and probably the best I got in the last two years.

Nope, CGL, not Figure Masters.

My Magneto arrived yesterday. It's utterly superb. Great quality sculpt and costume.

Nice! He's even better if you heat up the helmet to close it up a bit around the mouth area. That's what I did with mine.

I got my Prof X in today and it's a pretty awesome figure. Sculpt is def not a 100% there but good enough especially the second sculpt IMO. Chair is ok quality but the "leather" seat and backing are a really nice touch. Hopefully figure masters releases theirs as I would like to have at least the sculpts from those figures. But overall great figure. The tailoring on the suit is top notch IMO as well as the paint on the sculpts

Yes, I reshaped the helmet soon after I took the photos. I always had this in mind but was too eager to take a few shots. Once the helmet is reshaped it does make it look much better.

As for Xavier, I think the CGLTOYS chair and suit look much better than the Figure Masters. I will probably buy the CGL Xavier and look to buy the head from the Masters version.

That's what everyone plans to do...I think it will be difficult to get that sculpt at a reasonable price.

true and if that ends up being the case, I wouldn't mind buying the while figure and selling the chair, body/hands and whatever else I don't need. I like the suit on the Figurmasters version enough to keep it if I have to buy the whole figure

A site had him up for sale and I went to eat breakfast ,came back to order him and he was sold out.

The chair is nice but the head sculpt doesn't look like Patrick Steward at all.
