In the top left of the second pic it looks a little bit like an open hand that's wrapped with a bandage. I hope that's what it is! The prototype didn't have a bandaged hand of any kind so it'd be very cool if Art included that...

It would be nice but really, how hard would it be to make a wrap?? It'd rather see the para-cord bracelet in there somewhere.

I just PO'd the VTS but after seeing the production photos of the Art Figures version and rewatching the movie, I'm not really sure which has the better likeness.

I ordered the Wasteland ranger BY VIRTUAL TOYS. I got a little confused I never saw 2 release's of same character glad i ordered the other 1 version. I think headsculpt look's much better then this release sorry.

Maybe needs more stubble and tanning applied but overall the sculpt looks better then I was expecting.

He oddly feels more in theme with the DAM Gangsters line. Doesn't look bad by any means.

And he'll also likely be displayed with the Magic Cube Eli (and Simplz Alice), and eventually The VTS Maxes...because I don't think you can have too many post-apocalyptic warriors.

Just a word of advice....Do not try to remove the hands without heating them up first or you'll end up with a broken wrist peg like me.

What're the jacket and pants made out of? It almost looks like a faux suede?

That's what they look like, but it's some kind of roughened micro fabric. It's pretty effective as very well worn leather that's lost its smooth surface.

Thanks, Kuat. I think I'll try to grab a jacket and pants set as this gets parted out. I like the look.

I finished putting mine together and I'm far more impressed than I thought I'd be.

There's even a spare stripper clip for the SKS, possibly in case of loss, but the one already in the rifle seems pretty secure.

I'll have a go at putting the bandaged hand on him later as it's a nice little detail.

Wow he looks great, thanks for the pics. love the weathering on the boots. I decided to keep my PO on this guy, glad I did, cant wait to get this bad boy now.
