Don't mind the bigger nose. Print quality of the backdrop is not really crisp, but i like the idea having him placed in front, cross-legged.

I like the lighter grey hair on the sides. More in line with the comic character as far as I can remember.

Yeah seeing the two together, the IW definitely looks like the better sculpt to me. There's something just a bit caricaturish about the first one.

The first one is still very stellar (since it is still practically the same headsculpt...just different hairstyle), although side by side, I never realized how much whiter the sides got for DS.

The IW version, now that I’ve seen several different copies via reviews or pics, has a tailoring issue with the front of the clothing. There’s a clothing fold over the belt. The original doesn’t have that. Better fit it seems with V1.

Also, I like the hair better on V1.

Both great overall though.

Not a complaint but after rewatching the movie again i noticed that his hair only looks like this only briefly a couple times. So technically V1 is more accurate to IW than this one.

But that's not a big deal just an observation they are both great.

Yeah i kind of dig the IW version more as well. Still keeping ds1 version though. Its very much a 1 and 1A situation for me.

If I could pick both up at retail, I'd pretty easily choose V.1

Since I can't, and don't feel like paying a reseller's premium, I'll contentedly settle for V.2

They both look enough like BC to be considered excellent likenesses. But I think the first is slightly stronger, and the jostled strands of hair convey more personality and life.

The cape is much better on the new one, the collar especially. And the lighter blue on the suit is nice. Can't wait to get mine.

Take the sculpt and body of V1, and add the cloak and accessories from V2. Ultimate Dr Strange figure.

The collar actually the only thing on the this one i'm not a fan of. The stitching just stands a little to much but i'm sure it will look fine on the shelf.

I agree.
Sculpt looks better on the first one.
Cape looks better on the second one.

The boots are the same, they did not fix that.

The rest is very similar... hair paint looks better on the second one, body is a better fit on the first one...

This is the largest oversight I think they could have made. The complexity of the design could easily have hidden an ankle joint.

I wonder if HT was making this HS for a Ragnarok version and then decided to use it for this instead. This HS matches how he looks in that much better than how he looks in IW.
