Personally, I still think they're the best figures Hot Toys have produced so far.

Looks like they actually listened after the GL ****-up, and actually changed the material of his suit from the prototype. I would have probably preferred the yellow was kept gold, but other than that I have to say it looks great to me, and think (price dependent) an order will be going in for him.

Yeah, but the version of Captain Marvel from the JLU isn't 'green' and is being mentored by the entire JL... whereas in the movie, it literally deals with the first few days of him actually being a super powered being... the Sins evens say to Sivana "before he realises his potential"... how...

Are you kidding? The character's 79yrs old... nearly as old as Batman and Superman – there a loads of comics!

CM is not on track for $150mil –*more like $100mil now, they downgraded their expectations... and most of that money is because of the MCU connection, not because of the movie's quality. I don't agree about not liking the source material etc. –*Put it this way, I like Spiderman - his source...

Well it won't simply because a lot of people are invested in seeing how Infinity War ends in Endgame, after a decade of watching the MCU... Shazam! could be 10x the movie Endgame is and it still wouldn't make as much for that reason if nothing else... same way the new Star Wars films made a...

I never get this "I won't buy the figure because I thought the movie sucked" attitude – if you like the look of a figure... the design of the character, then buy it!

Not silly at all! Every superhero character should be treated tonally, dependent on their character – for instance, as we all know, Batman is dark, brooding, violent... however the Flash or Shazam should be lighter, whereas Plastic Man, or maybe a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle movie you would expect...

I have a feeling the movie will be great, and Phoenix will nail it as Mr. J - however, I'm not a fan of the full-on clown make up he wears in the movie... he's the clown prince of crime because he bears a resemblance to a clown, not because he is one!

If they could have answered that question without the awful comedy, then I would agree... awful movie that took a massive dump on the source material!

Aquaman was always a favourite of mine, from reading the old Aparo pencilled comics to buying him as my first Super Powers figure as a kid - and I love the look of the costume in the movie, however - for the price - i'm not that impressed with the HT figure... I would LOVE a Black Manta figure...
