I think the fading has nothing to do with the sunlight. My first mark VI i've get was faded straight out of the box. I think it's a problem of the used colors and the rubber.

Chigger nice pics, but did you have realized, that the rubberpart of the lower torso of your Mark IV has faded ? In this pics it looks really bad.

I've get delivered my Mark VI today. I took him straight out of the box (brandnew and sealed) and i was shocked. The color of rubber part of the lower torso is faded. There is no longer this nice cherryred, nope, now it's a pinkish something. The color of my Mark III BD is also faded, but...
