    MAFEX The Terminator

BBTS has it listed at $140. Terminator 2: Judgement Day No.205 MAFEX Endoskeleton (T2 Ver.) I'll need to have a momentary episode of sticker shock before pre-ordering this one, but it does look nice. And since I'll likely be spending about $0 on NECA Terminator figures for the remainder...

    NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Been so long since I've ordered Predator figures from BBTS that they no longer send me new-item preorder alerts, heheheheh. Sure, I'll go ahead and order the Elder though. In addition to that updated articulation and newish helmet, he's also... sporting a new right forearm! :rockOr, at least...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Watching a recent Fwoosh interview with Randy, he more or less confirms that new figures from Aliens Fireteam will be revealed around mid-September, so probably safe to assume that those figures will be next in the lineup after the AvP Arcade repaints.

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Right - the way they dropped that Lost Tribe announcement, it was almost as if they thought that we thought there might be some uncertainty on the matter. As for the remaining Nostromo crew in regular outfits, I seem to remember some tweet a few months back (though I'm not finding it now, so...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Anybody catch the SDCC 'Comic Con Reveal' panel that NECA just livestreamed over the past hour? They ended it saying there would be more reveals in a few days to coincide with the official Comic Con dates, but as for what was shown today... pretty much nothing. For ALIENS, they showed the 3 AvP...

It... seems to have an underbite?

    NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Ah, shoot. I've got two of these in my Pile o' Loot at BBTS. I must've had a reason for pre-ordering 2... but now I'm not so sure what the reason was.

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

I was actually just coming on here to post that I saw a single sample of this one at a Target today. No sign of Lambert or Ripley. I didn't buy the 'Giger' Alien 'cause I've already got it preordered, but I did pick it up to take a gander. I thought the effect looked pretty good. Unique enough...

    NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Hmmm... yes, I guess those AvP:R delays do set a concerning precedent. In my post of a few days ago, I somewhat jokingly mentioned the potential of the upcoming media entries to these franchises for causing further delay to figure releases... but maybe that is no joking matter! You're...

    NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

I do wonder if NECA is willing to recognize Ops Battle variations of the figures as worthwhile options. Hopefully, 'cause I want 'em all too! Years ago, I asked about the possibility of a Sub-Level 3 Hudson. Can't remember how I worded the tweet, but I tried to emphasize how essential it was...

    NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

My guess would be that they want Wolf's release to roughly coincide with AvP:R xenos and the PredAlien, but we keep getting 'event' years for both of those franchises, causing NECA to reshuffle their plans. 2017 was the 30th anniversary line for Predator; 2018-19 was the new movie stuff; 2020...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

If you are living in Columbia (or anywhere outside of the USA for that matter), I'm not sure. Recognizing that scalpers were using bots to snatch up huge quantities of the US store exclusives, NECA has been making some of their TMNT stuff available for single-week pre-orders, usually starting...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Quick clarification: he said that preorders would go live on The NECA Store closer to shipping date, and so he anticipated pre-orders (not the actual shipping or arrival of the wave) to be in about a month. RE: the scale issues with Parker and Brett, that is disappointing, and very unlikely...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Excited to finally have Brett and Parker in my Pile o' Loot... and also excited by this tweet. In response to a question about whether there will be more for ALIEN's 40th beyond the 'Walmart' [Ash, Kane, Alien] wave, Randy responded: "Outlook is good. Very well received." And now the lovely...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Probably, since the 'reveals' for Alien appear to be on the same trajectory as the 'reveals' for Predator, with nothing much beyond what we already know about. Unless... today is the day they confirm the corridor diorama? An egg set could be a possibility, and while less exciting than a full...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

I wasn't impressed at all by the new Ripley photo-real face shown the other day, but the unpainted sculpt looks very promising, so I'll retain hope that the final production pieces will do justice to Trevor's work. There was the tripod hoist thing that they used to lower Kane down into the egg...

Instead they will have one leg shorter than the other. :panic:

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Yeah, it does seem odd that Kenner Drake is being released as a stand-alone. I guess it makes sense for the rhino to be released on its own since it's reportedly a lot bigger than other figures, but I don't understand why they wouldn't just hold Drake back for the next Kenner wave - unless...

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Actually, he just recently gave somewhat of a soft confirmation that we'll be getting movie Drake eventually. :yess: Check this tweet: https://twitter.com/NECA_TOYS/status/1184652451007389697

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

In a recent twitter comment, Randy tempers expectations for NYCC by implying that there won't be any new Alien reveals at this weekend's comic convention. Since they have to share a booth with Kid Robot, he says they'll have a smaller showing, specifying that it'll be mostly Turtles and Horror...
