Star Wars May the 4th Sales & Deals!

Thank you TRDNiteLife. Just order Luke for $25 bucks off. BTW, anyone hiding in a closet, Hot Toys is doing 1/6 Scale Yoda and a 1/4 scale Kylo Ren. They really should be doing core characters from the OT first. Kylo is kinda weak.

    Sideshow 1/6 Jango Fett

Late on the scene here but..... I was initially intrigued on the engineering of this figure(SSC Jango), specifically how all the leg armor attached. Intrigue turned to frustration when the armor would just fall off with a nudge or less then with one reposition of the foot, the well in the boot...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 262 - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Chewbacca Collectible Figure

Before you try to get movie still accurate, maybe just futz until you get a look you like unless of course the look you like is a movie still. Chewie has many looks that are fun and I think that's why it's so hard to get Chewie to look like Chewie. Huge Chewie fan here and I gasped for air when...

    WTB weapons adviser Virtual toys

I don't have one to offer but I did want you to know that this is the best version of Lucius Fox out there. I got mine from timewalker toys. They ship quickly and are avid 1/6 scale collectors/mom and pop store. Cost me $122.00. If you have to get one retail, you still will not be disappointed...

    Hot Toys Kryptonite on chain.

Hey Spidey7, would you be interested in a custom kryptonite on chain made for ya instead of an actual HT? I'm sure it'd be easy to make. Let me know. David

I have both. Note that both have been on display since I got them. The Darth Maul stand that holds his saber is autographed by the actor and I have a video of him signing it. Let me dig up the shipping boxes, make sure everything you require is there. I'm thinking $900 plus shipping...

    Paint Removal

BTW, I soaked a plastic hot wheel sized car in acetone over night and when I returned to it, the body completely dissolved into liquid.. Acetone dries very quickly so wipe off the paint with an acetone moistened Q-tip or clean cloth then with a new clean cloth wipe it away. You will want to use...

    Paint Removal

I'm new to sideshow freaks and I see no indication of dates on your post so I do not know if I am late or not. Sorry if I am late. Acetone will take the paint off anything and very quickly and cleanly but DO NOT soak parts in it. Acetone is strong and it can be diluted but i never do.

    Removing decals/logos from fabric

Any luck getting that logo off your clothing? I've had great luck with freezing the whole thing in ice then picking the logo off. Somethines they come off easily and cleanly sometimes not. Also, you may if you are the patient type, free, that freeze that several times. If you find most of the...

1/6th Aayla Secura outfit by SithLord MacGyver

Anyone needing some heads up for an Aayla Secura 12" custom using Sideshow's Aayla, here are some hints. I amusing an Otaku body. The Sideshow heads fits onto the Otaku ball jointed neck post and offer good poseability. I kept the saber grip sideshow hand as her left hand and used a 21st Century...

    Sideshow 12" Stormtrooper PICTURE THREAD

This is not a reply to anyone so if it is posted incorrectly save your sarcasm or negativity please. Got my SS Stormtrooper last week. He is awesome and I am very satisfied. My review of General Kenobi

General Kenobi Looks great, really great. The down side include: Hands are too large again/still but foregiveable for sure. Hands don't hold saber well because they are too large. A tighter fit with a softer hand would have worked here. Cool poses can be achieved but are completely nullified...
