Those who disliked TLJ, are you still buying toys from it?

TLJ rates a 70% from me.. could have done with tighter editing and NO Force space walk, that really. did. not. work. As for figures, it's Star Wars!..Droids and troopers, droids and troopers.. but kinda tempted by a Hermit Luke.. Mark Hamill morphing into craggy Oliver Reed mode, what's not to like?

    Jakk's Star Wars line

Great work Jessedart. I just picked one of these up from TRU.. agreed, instantly my favourite Jakks SW figure, love the sound and lights!

    Value of my Riddler Trophie?

No worries.. as you say, no recent activity on eBay, and the fact it was relatively expensive at retail ($350 rrp), compared with say, the original Iron Man Arc Reactor, prop replica from Museum Replicas ($150 rrp) makes it difficult to judge demand.

    Value of my Riddler Trophie?

This might be a question for the 'DC Comics-Statues, props, etc.' section of the Forum, since it's Triforce's Prop Replica.. however joining the forum and almost immediately asking for valuations, is generally regarded as poor Forum etiquette.. plus in order to advertise the item for sale, you...

1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

The Rogue One film is very likely to give the opportunity and incentive, to revisit a lot of OT figures.

1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

Agreed, technically there is no reason why Sideshow shouldn't only do a production run of 1000, out of the original scheduled edition of 2000, if pre-orders were soft.. and if those also took quite awhile to sell, then its fairly understandable, they might decide to wait until the new movies...

Anyone order from Big Bad Toy Store??

Generally it will take a couple of weeks (sometimes it's quicker), part of this is the whole customs and tax process when it hits Blighty ..but I seem to remember that BBTS supply tracking details, so you can follow your packages progress.. it has been awhile since I ordered something from them.

Having trouble, all beware of this member shadysearl0

Declaring at full value, tracked and insured, will incur import duties in Countries where they apply, however if the parcel goes missing, it means both Buyer and Seller are covered.. declaring a low value' or 'sent as a gift', means that is not the case.. It's all fun and games, right up until...

The Losing Intrest In Hot Toys Thread

Cost, available display space and sheer number of 1/6 figure releases (and now 1/4 scale as well) mean I have become very picky.. but Hot Toys are still awesome sauce. :rock

General question on Brother Production quality

The advice you got on OSW about good HS and accessories but replace the body, sounded knowledgeable, .. and it concurs with comments made in this review of a Brother Production figure on YouTube.

Apoligies for the mahooosive date/time stamp, it's not my pic.. comedy timing required a fast post response to KuatofKuat, with IG-88 for on-topic.. followed by a cat re-acting.. et viola. :lol

1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

:goodpost: Excellent points, the highest demand tends to be for the Mint, or near Mint collectible experience.. and although more figures and replica props are looked after to a higher standard now, meaning more are available, than is the case for toys from the 1960s through to the 1980s.. I...

1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

I am inside the bubble it's true.. but there is also no denying that 'Geek' is now mainstream, not niche.. robots have been popular for pretty much the entire period that involved cowboys and astronauts.. I grew up with all three.. and Star Wars is a Western in space.

1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

I take the point you are making.. however anyone who even glances at a Hummel figurine, will know why they are worthless as 'collectibles'.. they are kitsch junk, and therefore crack/catnip for Grannies, but no-one else. :lol An interesting question (which I think has been mentioned by others...
