NECA Retro Colth Mego-esque figures of Jason and Freddy?

Considering the design on these is "throw back"/Mego era---none of the body posability or clothing complaints would be an issue for me. Paint is a different story. But considering the Mego Thing figure, as well as others, seriously cut corners---I wont judge them too harshly.:wink1:

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!! i am by no means a fan of McFarlane. The only thing s I on he produced are the Maniacs Norman Bates, Pumpkinhead, and Candy Man. Because hes the only one who made those in that size.

Re: CREEPSHOW starts today!!! Ya gotta wonder why about 10 years ago(when every property known to man was getting a figure--Donny Darko, Creeper, etc) that no one did Creepshow in a smaller scale. I would've bought them. I actually prefer a smaller scale now that I am outta room for this...

    DST Monsters at SDCC

As a former "hater" of the DST line---believe me when I say you'll want both vrsions of Jeyll and Hyde. I am getting both. The TRU version will be displayed as Hyde. The DST as Jekyll. DST Jekyll version comes with far too many accessories to pass on.

    DST Monsters at SDCC

TRU version: DST deluxe version Hyde has a rooftop for the TRU version, and a round base with some rats and a lab table with equiptment for the DST deluxe version. Mole man is the TRU exclusive and comes with a similarly designed base as SSC's version, sans nameplate.:peace

    DST Monsters at SDCC

Yup...and next year's wave is most likely their last. The retro cloth figures end this year with the release of Phantom and Mutant. The DST/TRU stuff ends next year (tentatively) with the release of a super-articulated Creature, Son of Frankenstein, and an original concept Van Helsing type...
