Got mine in last week. It's a beautiful model

Ordered one in from eBay as well. Looking forward to it! Not quite as detailed, but certainly worth the $500 less that you'd spend on an anigrand. I'll post some pics when it comes in.

Seems to be the lighting to me. There are some more pictures out and in this one, the one in the back right looks pretty good to me. I think it's jsut the super bright lighting from directly above.

i'm pretty excited about these. I think people are missing what bandai kits are really about. Bandai's philosophy is to make kits that are simple to build but look great if you have no modeling skills, and look amazing if you do. plan on getting two of these guys to go with my hot toys vader...

Re: Looks like Bandai is releasing a 1/6 scale stormtrooper model kit! Their larger gundam figures, which are 12 inch, are really well articulated. The inner frame goes together with screws and is highly detailed

Re: Looks like Bandai is releasing a 1/6 scale stormtrooper model kit! They are snap together, but you can use glue. Painting isn't necessary, but it adds to it. The kits they have released so far are incredibly detailed at 1:72 and 1/12 scale, so I can't imagine this would be less detailed...

Looks like Bandai is releasing a 1/6 scale stormtrooper model kit! Fully articulated and looks to be about $70ish. Given the detail on their other models, I would venture to say this could be as good or better than the hot toys one.
