But the paint job on Hot Toys Proto is even worse, it looks so plastic! So that final piece will still most probably look worse than Sideshows.

I disagree, $350 is A LOT of money to spend on something if it turns out to be a pile of ****! We're not talking Hasbro Toys here. 70% accurate to the prototype at these prices is not acceptable in my opinion.

This is without a doubt one of Hot Toys best pieces ever! They nailed it down to a tea and the likeness to Hayden is incredible. Best proto to production as well!

But we don't know how long they have been developing this and whether or not production has already started! In my opinion, a piece this large should always come within 90% of the prototype! It's not like a 1/6 Scale with really intricate details.

The question is how different! I think even a 20% decline from the production piece will be catastrophic and make it look like a lump of green plastic in a robe! It really does baffle me why Sideshow and Hot Toys even can't get to within 90% at least of the production piece. This product is...

I kinda regret selling my SS version now! I?m really disappointed with Hot Toys version. Everything from the expression on the sculpt, the robe to me feels cheap! I really struggle posing this thing as well!

I think Sideshows work has been pretty decent since the release of their most recent 1/6 Scale Darth Maul! That had very minimal drop in quality from the proto in terms of the sculpt and paint job! I?ve always heard that Sideshows statues and life sizes are decent and this one looks mint to me...
