Statue Blitzway 1/4 Bruce Lee Statue

Remember the BW 1/3 ETD prototype? I want the statue in those pics thanks.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 279 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Darth Vader

The weathering on your chest box and belt is superb and looks 1:1 scale. Makes the difference between a museum piece and a toy. Armour repaint looks great too, congrats.

    1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 452 - Star Wars: Episode V ESB - Darth Vader

Depends on your definition of accurate, closeness, likeness etc. Our opinions differ, that is all. In my opinion this is the first time the different elements that make up the mask have come together to give an overall impression of accuracy in a 1/6 Vader. I expected HT would be the ones to...

    1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 452 - Star Wars: Episode V ESB - Darth Vader

Apart from anything, this is the first time a 1/6 Vader face mask has come close to being accurate. The asymmetry and curves in the cheeks finally looks right, which has always thrown off the look in previous iterations. I'd like to see the Hasbro titanium dome on top of this face plate.

Statue Blitzway 1/4 Astronaut (ISS EMU ver.)

It looks superb. Kudos to BW for always surprising. A 1/6 Apollo era figure would be an instant buy.

    CHINA. X - H 1/6 BRUCE LEE's 77th anniversary Statue

The closed mouth sculpt is the best but still not right. Not bad front on but off on different angles. Overall it has a pretty good essence to me for a 1/6. I really like the pose.. the position of the feet. The BW proto also had a fantastic pose but changed for the production piece. So it's...

    CHINA. X - H 1/6 BRUCE LEE's 77th anniversary Statue

Never heard of them, went to the FB page where there are a few more proto pics. Looks like some nice detailing with the skin... texture, sweat, shading etc. The cuts are better than BW's 1k statue... and some other details, but we won't go there :) Like the pose too.... not sure about the...

    1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 452 - Star Wars: Episode V ESB - Darth Vader

I imagine the ANH helmet is just a place holder for the ESB prototype figure. The helmet change is one of the fundamental differences between ESB and ANH versions of Vader. It just seems too obvious that HT could overlook this for the production piece... right?

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

FURY 5/10 Had been really looking forward to this one as I am a fan of WWII era films. It was just OK, thought the cast was particularly unlikeable... at least how they played the characters. The final act with 300 odd troops failing miserably against one stricken and disabled tank was really...

    Stranger Things (Netflix show)

This was cruising to a 5/10 for me until the last couple of episodes pushed it out to a 7/10. Lacked the charm and focus the first series had. The Thriller trailer ended up being way better than the actual season. Yep, interesting song choices for the dance at the end. 1984 was all about...

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Interesting... IMO Scott being unavailable was the luckiest break this film could have got.

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Good post and I agree there is undue focus on the question of Deckard’s existential makeup at the expense of broader themes but really, it is Scott himself that has fanned the flames on this conjecture with his revisionist multiple cuts of the original film, each one edging closer to a...

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

Blade Runner 2049 10/10 Seen it 3 times over a period of 3 weeks so it is a balanced score and not the afterglow of a first screening. After multiple viewings there is no devaluation or fatigue, instead it only becomes more resonant and haunting and seeps into your consciousness.

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) Yeah exactly. There is also still an obscurity lingering in that final exchange and the moments after and it's full of emotional weight. Perfect ending.

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) Ultimately it's Villeneuve's film, not Scott's and he has masterfully kept the ambiguity of Deckard's humanity intact. That's where the interest lies, in not really having questions like these answered. If Scott had directed he would have removed any...

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) Yes. As a CGI render, the most lifelike human I've seen. But likeness to 1982 Sean Young not quite there. Villeneuve directed Loren Peta on set and they used her face for motion capture. They also used Sean Young's face for motion capture and dialogue...

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) Huh, interesting how everyone's perception is different. I actually thought the CGI Rachael looked a little older than she should have been, not really bloated. Sean Young was only 19 or something in the original. And I thought Tarkin looked a little...

    Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) *SPOILERS*

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th, 2017) Not 100% but in the context of what's come before with CGI humans I thought it was extremely good and the best I've seen.
