Post Your 1:1 Helmets and/or Props

A friend of mine and fellow member here started to bring me into the statue collecting game again and just realized I should start posting props as well! Nice to see this has grown so much. Here's a ROTS 1/1 Vader Reveal I built for a client. I'll be starting a build for myself this coming...

Statue Life Size Maul Bust Cyberman Cast

I think so too. Gorgeous. Did you do the build up yourself on it? Painted eyes?

Statue Life Size Maul Bust Cyberman Cast

If there was anything I learned, ya just like what Brent mentioned...it'll be a wait. Partly why I opted to do it myself than have it go on any longer. He should come through, he did for me, but its a cruddy wait.

used a different shade of red, better eyes, and a semi gloss to finish it off with the v2, I prefer the v2 by far.

Thank you, here's a shot of the first one with the first set of eyes I made, I knew I wanted to make another so didn't bother polishing the eyes more for a clearer finish.

Statue Life Size Maul Bust Cyberman Cast

Yep it was a raw cast, the eyes were actually meant for a Darth Sidious bust that I was planning awhile back but didn't follow through with it. Did the paint work, trimming, piercing and eyelashes...or well my wife did the eyelashes, gluing each one on, one at a time. A labor of love lol

Prop ANOVOS goes into Star Wars Costuming

Do you mean the swirl marks on the plastic? As far as I know, I've never seen an ABS helmet escape that and I can just hit it with NOVUS and polish it up. Basically RS, WTF, Dan Laws, SDS, I've all seen them have it, its black gloss ABS, even the slightest touch with my fingers left marks on...

Prop ANOVOS goes into Star Wars Costuming

Yep, I have the chestbox almost done and had the hoses from a previous tie helmet build. For the $300 price tag for a fully finished ready to troop in bucket, it is hard to beat. I'll get a couple more photos of the back soon, have had more requests for it.

Post Your 1:1 Helmets and/or Props

I am missing a greeblie from the top of range finder that I need to add soon. My fault though, forgot it in a baggie when I sent everything to be done. I call it 99% done for now though.

Post Your 1:1 Helmets and/or Props

Overall cost was about $600. It may vary a bit depending on how much work you request. I had the helmet trimmed, assembled and primered already, with the greeblies done etc. I had Alvomedia do the painting and leatherwork which was a fantastic job. It may be more or less depending on how far...
