Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

Welp i got a batch 2 from timewalker apparently as the webbing looks mostly centered correctly. That seam still sucks though and is more noticeable than i would like. There is just no excuse for a big seam to be right on his forehead. I'm Keeping it though as we won't likely get another from hot toys anytime soon.

Same thoughts.

I have mine coming in Monday. Hoping it’s Batch 2. Could’ve been a lot better but oh well, I am wanting this representation.

This figure sucks what else left is there to say it’s been said here already.

Here’s something that really makes it suck less. Anyone can do it. It’s reversible

Take bits of a cotton ball and a flat head plier and shove it on either side of the neck push all the way down to the bottom to get it nice and evenly bulked up all the way to the bottom ,

That looks great and seems simple enough.

Seams look good on mine. Standard from SS received this week.

Finally got my Tobey Spidey in. Not sure if it's Batch 1 or 2 (or if that's even a real thing). Would have liked the Sandman base, but would have had to sacrifice at least two figures in my display. I'm hoping to fit in the black suit Tobey when that's released.

Yours has the same problem as mine. Seems look ok but the silver web lines look too wavy and not straight from the nose to the top of the head like the eyes are pulling the webs askew.

See it's stuff like this that makes collecting upsetting. HT went ahead and half assed the character, if InArt announced a rami Spider-Man, HT would announce a S2 or S3 blue and red suit out of sheer spite.

Im surprised how dark the blue is, almost looks black

The batches is NOT a real thing. It’s soemthing we made up and think it’s gospel but it’s not.

What it is is BS lack of quality control.

Some get really unlucky like the one in Justin’s review. Some got luckier than you and I (mine looks like yours) with everything lined up exactly like it should and not pretty close like that

Some have bulky seams at the head some don’t…

Basically you won’t know what you have until you open it.

If you have a local comic shop selling it that’s your best bet. Do what I did and make them open all of them and pick out the best.

Two were ridiculous with the webs all the way down his nose and two looked like the pic here..

All from the same shipment here at Forbidden in Manhattan . Proving the “batches” thing is simply not a thing..

I figured it was wishful thinking on collector's part.

It’s not perfect but it’s a damn good improvement

Make that neck not as thick and it's perfect, besides the forehead seam as well. The lens and head shape alone makes a huge difference.

Definitely not but it would be perfect if the neck was slimmer.

Agreed does anyone know if OT customs is still doing his run of mods, he seemed to remove all posts regarding it?

Decided to take a shot every time someone said the neck was too thick...

ended up in the hospital.
