George had very light involvement with TCW, most of that down to Filoni and his team. Of course, George had different tiers of canon sp did not consider TWC truly canon, he could retcon it any time. Had he kept Star Wars he likely would have overridden TCW's lightsabers eventually
I’m not sure that’s true. My impression based on behind the scenes videos, interviews etc he was heavily involved in TCW pretty much up until it got original canceled. I always saw the two of the sitting at the big table at the ranch going over characters and ideas.

I'm beginning to hate watching Movies & TV shows with my kids. They have to pick up their phones like every 10 minutes, then I spend 5 minutes yelling at them...
Omg yes I hate this as well

Sadly, I just wish SW would **** off and die for a while...
Umm you do realise death is permanent don’t you lol

My biggest gripe is that this means there’ll be a slew of Hot Toys figures of this crap, pushing back any prime OT stuff (Boushh Leia, Bespin Han etc) even further. I’d like those before I die please.
I’m not convinced of that. There is nothing remotely interesting in terms of figure design I can see in this show. Hopefully Chan will hate it as much as he clearly hated Andor lol.

I've found that Black Series collectors are typically very embracing of Disney Star Wars. They will gobble up anything that gets released as long as it's fresh and new.

It's the retail pricing that gives them pause.

Oh boy...... :slap

Star Wars: The Acolyte will feature fan-favorite Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh, equipped with her purple-bladed lightsaber that has a modification that changes it into a lightwhip.

If female leads in ANY film/show/franchise were organic by a writers decision, I'd have no problem with it.

But "The Force Is Female" and "Pale Males are Stale" is making a public, in your face statement to the masses.

That is why these Disney activists that call themselves "writers", "producers" and "directors" get the side eye from me.

They aren't interested in telling a Star Wars story or furthering the lore. They are only using the IP (as well as others) as a vehicle to declare their agenda about a topic that is far too sensitive to actually say out loud.

Even though THEY can say it.

It's sickening. I love SW. I loath Disney SW.
