I feel like this show could have the same issue Mando S3 had. The Mandalorians can be cool as hell on their own, but in a big group ended up being boring as hell to watch. And I can see that happening with the Jedi as well, especially if they're all going to be super earnest and sincere and wearing the same boring brown robes. Lol

Has a real cringey Rings of Power vibe to it. It also looks like an American imitation of Asian Wuxia with none of the soul. The dialogue was weak and character design uninspired. This screams of modern Disney product. blegh.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. This looks SO good. It's the Star Wars I've been envisioning in my mind since 1983, come to life at last. Thank god Star Wars is finally in the hands of creators that get it.

What also has me concerned is the apparent disregard for established canon/timeline.

The Phantom Menace explicitly states that the Jedi believe the Sith have been extinct for 1,000 years, and yet this show is set just 100 years before The Phantom Menace and features Jedi encountering a... Sith.

Unless this show is actually set 1,000 years before The Phantom Menace.

I honestly appreciate that they're doing something different with this. I have literally zero expectations, so I might be pleasantly surprised the way I was with Andor.

Yesterday facebook showed me an old trailer for the 1997 Special Editions. That was cool.

Trailer looks good, so I plan to watch it. I generally try to take a positive approach and give these shows a chance. If I don’t like it, there are plenty of other options out there. That’s one of the great things about streaming.

The actors all look like they belong in an underwear ad (or Prime's LotR).

Also, I never liked the idea of Jedi wookies. It bothers me.

Also, nothing in this "teaser" actually teased. There was nothing to hook my interest.

I'll watch of course. But so far, big "meh" energy from me.
