That's why I asked it didn't seem as if it was able to do that and to avoid damage I didn't attempt it.
I just checked and yes they say the envelope cannot be opened. So, it would more or less be open at your own risk if you were to try.

Page 04 under "Cautions 02", line item 9-"The wax seals on envelopes are made of ABS plastic and cannot be opened"

Instructions are there for a reason :wink1:

I just received my invoice from Kit with a note saying that it can ship tomorrow (order #90575), so it looks like there's another batch going out.

Hallo Freunde

InArt’s production of this Gandalf figure has been very slow. A while back they said they are hiring more staff to increase production. But I haven’t read anything to the effect that InArt is ceasing production of Gandalf the Gray, or going out of business, or anything like that.

Thanks for the info
I hope i get mine soon, the information from onesixkit is very meagre when i ask for it.

Yeah, every so often the owner of OSK posts that they’re so busy that they can’t really respond to those constant questions of “when is my figure coming?” He says once the figure releases to OSK they will get it shipped out right away. They’re waiting for it too, etc.

Even with established companies like Hot Toys the wait time for figures to actually release from the time they’re announced and go on preorder can be years. It’s just the nature of the beast!

Just watched another interview with John from Inart/Queen studios today where he said 7-8 figures (down from 8-10 a few days ago) will be up for PO this year, and since they have about this amount they have already shown which havent been up for PO yet, I wouldnt get my hopes up high for new LOTR PO's coming this year.
They might show new ones for sure but PO wont happen this year.
He said that they hope they will have 10-12 up for PO next year.

Well that sucks. But I guess my wallet can rest easy

I ordered my Gandalf from OSK on January 9, and was just invoiced yesterday. So, that took over a year.

Previously, in this forum, OSK posted a message saying that InArt does not provide any information on when the figure will be ready.

Here's English translation for others:

Hello friends

Is there anything to worry about?
I'm still waiting for my Gandalf figure from Onesixkit that I ordered over a year ago.
Am I the only one?
For example, I read that Toys Wonderland no longer supplies anything and InArt has stopped producing Gandaf, that can only be a joke...

My answer below.
Problems with Toys Wonderland won't affect Onesixthkit or InArt. InArt hasn't stopped production, but it's going slow, so it might take a while until you get yours. You shouldn't be worried about all this, just be patient.

You are in safe hands with OSK. As soon as he gets it in, he will invoice you immediately and ship out right away once paid. They have been releasing in batches and are still releasing. Someone just mentioned they got invoiced today so sounds like another batch is in.

If you didn't or don't get notification soon, then it's going to be after CNY. I ordered mine in October 2022 and received mine couple weeks ago in the last batch. Look at your order number and you kind of get an idea of how close yours is. The last batch sent out through the 89000's, so the next one should be the 90000's and on.

It will come in time. No need to worry with OSK. Just remember it's out of his control, but he is on top of it as soon as your order is in.

Nice, so we're in the 2023 orders now. I guess my June 2023 order should arrive around end Feb/early March then.

True, except Hot Toys doesn’t drag out the production of one figure nearly as long.

I think more importantly, how many figures are being released this year lol

Yep, it didn't take 3+ years to get that GOTG2 Gamora or Pennywise out. 😂
Even the recently released Catwoman was what two years? Hulkbuster took ages as well.

Kick myself for not getting this Gandalf. He’s going to be near impossible to find for a reasonable price seemingly.

For those that ordered Gandalf around the time that Aragorn went up for preorder it looks like Kit is sending out invoices, I just got mine this morning.

If you want him to ship right away you need to pay right away, otherwise it says in his email that shipments will pause until later in February due to the holiday.

Exactly, we will only see maybe 3 or 4 that will actually be released. We should see The Batman, Aragorn, Harry Potter, and MAYBE Superman. My guess is Superman will get pushed to next year unless they do get that production increased. Now if Superman does get a 2024 release, I will have much more faith in that production and them tackling 8+ figures in a decent amount of time.

Even the recently released Catwoman was what two years? Hulkbuster took ages as well.
They have had many many long delays even recently like Wanda and Catwoman. Although I will say Hot Toys has gotten much better lately, but do still have some like those two.

I personally feel anything that can get in hand in under 2 years is pretty good. Anything under 18 months is great.
