Yeah that's with the 3% discount I said they apply if you pay in full. Similar to Spec's discount if you pay in full but still cheaper through KG. However if there's no tax for folks outside of Cali and if they honor the $50/$60 shipping, it might be better to go with them.
Ok so I was right, when you select the full pay option you pay shipping upfront ($91) when you select deposit shipping is held off until balance is paid hence why it’s not charging upfront.
Spec does charge tax for customers outside of Cali. Tax is whatever your state charges. For me Spec tax is $40.
So KGHobby is $993 pay now, no tax, but how much will shipping be?
$91 so $1,084 total.
Will they stick to that number, or is it whatever shipping costs in Q2 2025 though?
$91 is pretty good. Is OSK charging double that?
If you pay in full now, they can’t request more from you later.

Do you see tax being applied on your end when you try to check out for paying on the deposit and full price? I don't see it for either option when I try so it's confusing.
Or is tax only charged when the final balance is paid? If so then what stops me from paying full price now with no tax and just paying for shipping later?
Are they in HK, why would they charge tax?

You have to go to the checkout and type out your address for an estimate bro. No tax for HK sellers.

Are you in Cali? Must be a case of the tax not being for every state then because I'm definitely not getting hit with it when trying to check out. Unless if I somehow missed a step.
Will still just wait for their reply to confirm. They would be the cheapest out of everyone if so.
Do you have a shop.app account with your billing address linked? You’ll need to do that. The way Todd does things is he’ll send you a shipping invoice once he receives his stock and is ready to fulfill your order. If you order by March 1st, you’ll be charged $50 or $60 depending on which version you choose.

Cali always adds taxes for any e-tailer shipping to California. They passed that law some time ago.

KGhobby has asked buyers to pay more for shipping in the past when they found out their initial shipping calculations were too low.
