InArt Phoenix Joker 1/6

Good that Kit's preorder window is long. Plenty of time to think it over. And the edition size is (seemingly) open... although, I expect that INART anticipates some kind of ceiling to the preorder numbers based on those prices and how many ordered their previous figures.

Yea I have to sit down for this one, too rich for my blood! But man, I really want that bathroom scene Joker!

That price...I have to think about it..

I mean I like how the figures look. Nothing against the offerings. It’s just that while I like the film I don’t know if it’s something I want to spend over $1,000 on. If it was a Hot Toys release at like $300-$400 it would be an easier decision.

Exactly, great movie but not enough to warrant a $1K+ figure (for me). However, if this was a 1989 Joker 4 pack, pfftttt sign me up!

If memory serves, Kit allows manual payment plans where you can send him an email and request to prepay any amount towards the balance. I might go that route and get the four pack since I'll have a year to pay it off.

if you look at it. its 450 per figure for the 4 pack if you order from kit

Damn, I just wanted the 'Joker', don't care about Arthur. Thought they would do a single figure version. Looks exellent. 1+k is just too much

But I also look at it as I would never spend $450 on this figure if it was solicited alone because I’m just not interested in it to be real honest.

my in country reseller selling USD1027 and USD1471 respectively...
maybe my country is near to HK....
Still.... can't put my finger to it... damn...

I don’t know maybe the new Lady Gaga movie is gonna make this whole brand the new epic best next thing. I guess we’ll just have to see, but I’m not willing to gamble on the four pack lol.

yeah i get that, i know many dont need or care for the carnival look he has, could very well throw that away but i appreciate them including that even though im building one myself

I'm not getting any of these as I never really liked the movie. Seeing the effort inart put into the figures is really nice but this one version makes me ask "why?" Could have been easily a 3 pack and a lower premium set price.

But you have to order either two or four figures which some of us don’t necessarily want to do. The sets are no doubt impressive and I’m still tempted to get one but it’s a lot of money for a movie I like but don’t love. If InArt had been allowed to do a single figure and it was $450-$500 I would have easily pre-ordered.

Pulled the trigger!!!….on the deluxe…

Roughly $200 more than the deluxe Ledger Joker due to ‘restrictions’ is what I had to tell myself

But yeah I couldn’t pass that personal barrier of spending close to 2K on 1/6 figures, regardless how excellent they are.

Damn... I've had big trees cut down in my yard for less than this.

I pulled the trigger on the 4 pack. Like many, I am not so interested in the hospital outfit or the regular Arthur. But the way I look at it... the set can easily be parted out if needed to recoup the costs.

I question how easy it’ll be to part out the sets when most people want the same two figures (red suit or bathroom look).
