So is there still a lot of Gandalfs yet to be released?

Been waiting to pick one up but I don’t want to pay resell for it. I have $600 in credit card points. Should I hold out and wait for more stock or are we at the end of his cycle?

There's going to be at least one more batch if not more given that there are still folks in this thread waiting on Kit's next round

EDIT: not to mention how many times Kit reopened POs for this figure. I'm sure there are quite a few left to be made/shipped

I’m still waiting on my Gandalf as well. Doubt I see him until June or July at this rate.
I doubt it will be that late. When did you place your order? I got mine last week and put my order in later in October of 2022. They got out those larger initial first orders, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the orders will be spread out more by date in the next batches.

WOW.

All I can say.

Absolutely incredible from top to bottom. Every piece of this release really feels handcrafted and with the care of a custom piece.

I couldn't set the figure up, but I inspected each piece for QC. Aside from the battery to the staff getting stuck, I was really pleased with everything. This IS Gandalf and an absolute tribute to a wonderful character.

The ring has inscriptions. I am astounded.

Not to dwell on the mishap, but how did the battery get stuck... and did you fix that?

So the battery plugs in the base of the little LED. You're supposed to plug the assembly into the crystal, and then set the stone into the staff so it holds it. I just assumed you place it in and that's the end of it. But...

The battery will drop further into the staff and get wedged in a way than you can't easily retrieve if you don't secure it to the crystal first.

I used a pair of specialty tweezers and some tooth extraction skills to lift it out of the socket in the staff, but it came at the cost of a few scuffs to the light.

Unnoticeable, but unfortunate. Totally on me though.

...? Are you a dentist?

Now go floss

I keep being afraid that by the time I finally receive my Gandalf, I will be oversaturated by all the pictures.
But then I see pictures like these and I'm blown away (almost) as if I'm seeing him for the first time. :thud:
I didn't even order this and I am already full!! Lovely pictures I will admit. Beautiful piece!
