Not at all. Reporters could actually contact theaters chains and find out how movies are performing. You could see lines around the block... or not.

Now... we haven't yet figured out how to gauge a streaming movie's success other than what the studio tells us.

IDK if I agree..I love the fact they actually filmed in Budapest..that’s not so easy of a task nowadays with these countries . So the budget makes sense since a chunk of it had to be location and one thing that stood out to me in this film was the location.

That's not necessarily a bad thing if there's less CGI.

Not going TLJ will keep the train going and it will take a number of flops to derail the brand. Looks like everyone went out to see this one! Got to see how the next weekend performs to see long term performance. China/India has no release date yet.

Are you really going to compare a kid friendly superhero family franchise series to a 1980s hard core R movie who’s whole purpose was to be a satire on violence.

But that’s ok let’s go there.

Yes Robocop had great on screen violence committed against male Murphy but what was the worst violence committed against a female, officer Lewis being shot.

That is unless you consider LEAVE BITCHES to be super violent lol

I’m telling you even if BW was a non-comic book R movie her beat down would’ve been shocking.

Believe me, I didn't think it was satire when I saw it as a child.

Oh, and I'm still scared of the ED 209.

Was her beat down more shocking than the one at the start of avengers? It's all just PG 13 violence to me, it doesn't matter if she's beating up a guy or a girl or of she's getting hit by a man or woman

It was shocking because I did not expect the ME TOO movement to use a freaking marvel superhero movie to show a vile fat old white dude physically punching a woman without any cut aways as the visual representation of what they felt Weinstein and other old men executives were doing to females.

It was clearly filmed to be domestic abuse in nature and her response of THAT’S ALL YOU GOT and YOU PUNCH LIKE A WIMP was what they wanted to tell Weinstein to his face with his punches representing Weinstein’s power over their careers as well as actual physical abuse from other men and the mind control as well.

It's a bit different when the movie isn't included in the monthly fee though and you have to actually spend more money to unlock access to it. I'm sure they're able to see exactly how many accounts have spent the $30 on Black Widow.

My sister actually tracks this exact data for D+ in real time she just told me it’s legit.

She literally sees the premier access opening up once paid for her team tracks the flow of data back and forth in crazy ass detail that would blow your mind.

She swears that she can’t look through our cameras but I don’t believe her lol

She tracks:

What is being watched
How long it’s watched for
How many are watching
What is being brought up on the screen even if play is not pressed
From what device

Plus her team handles the health of the stream.

She's literally tracking Black Widow's

She hates her career she said she would rather do porn lol

Oh and she did the same work for HBOMAX she said it was boring quiet shifts lol

I know I might not seem like a nice brother but she appreciates my honesty lol

Pugh really deserves the praise..there is a 12 year age gap between her and Scar …but they have that sister chemistry in both on and off camera . Not to mention Florence has only been acting since 2014 while we all know Scar has been a vet in Hollywood since the 90s.

Florence has just begun to scratch the surface of her career..so not only was it Natasha passing the torch to Yelena…this is also Scar passing the torch to Florence.

This I can’t deny despite this film’s shortcomings

I’m just going to come out and admit it I got choked up during the post credits scene when she put her head on the gravestone their relationship was that well structured but then in true MCU fashion the moment was quickly ruined by humor lol

Living in the Midwest, I took offense to that humor! I'm sure the Texas citizens as well with the Thor: Ragnarok comment. Don't see NY or CA getting those shots!

I also forgot to mention..so many times in this film she outshine Scar in alot of scenes ( even Scar wasn’t ashamed to admit it in interviews but praised her for it ) and to think she is literally only in her early 20s ..jeez I didn’t realize how young she was until I looked her up.

This Gal is a professional. and now she will go on to work with another vet in Renner

I wish we got more scenes with Pugh with another respectable actress in Rachael. Hopefully we get it in the future .

This character makes me feel there is hope for Phase 4.

We can say goodbye appropriately now to Natasha now in the MCU..buy damn..I wish we didn’t have too.

But I‘m ready for Melina and Yelena to move forward

man..RDJ, Evans and Scar gone from the MCU…talk about three actors I’ve followed their whole careers …. the MCU seems so different and surreal
