I suspect they've watched NECA's steady sales for the ALIEN and PRED licenses. A lot of high-end collectors buy mass market because that's where their hobby started anyway. Unfortunately, I do feel that for each of us that does not purchase this Rubber Warrior we're hurting our chances of...
They will probably still tweak the inner-mouth articulation and a few of the joints, but for the most part agreed. I think once people see the Warrior in-person it'll be a shoo-in and many of us will want more than one... :wink1:

So Johnny Depp needs to be in Alien: Covenant (Prometheus 2)? In order to reignite HT's passion for the license?
I could see Hot Toys making an APC in similar scale to their BAT vehicle from Dark Knight Rises. Just a thought.
I know I'm shelling out more cash to NECA right now than any other company, though, so they better have some surprises in-store...
Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)
I think we can all admit to feeling a little taunted with a very nice one-time production of Ripley's likeness by them. Plus they show off their Power Loader, which may all be with the intent of trying to measure consumer...
