Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA:CW - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure
This thing is absolutely beautiful but I'm wondering what are the chances of there being 1/4 version down the road. It's really hard to go back to 1/6 scale after having the 1/4 mk 43
What is the chance that they will do 1/4 scale of this warmachine? And what is the chance that I could afford it? These are the questions that I ask myself :slap
I was going to get this figure 100% but then ever since I got my 1/4 mk43 I've decided to get out of 1/6 scale and my excitement for...
Re: Hot Toys - MMS 350 - Captain America: Civil War - Captain America Collectible Fig
Looks amazing but what's holding me back is the same issue I had with AOU cap, which is - the knee pad still doesn't seem to move with the leg inside so trying to pose him dynamically make him look derpy...
It's amazing how hefty this figure is despite not being a 'diecast' figure. I was handling it today some more and it was quite intimidating. Luckily it's pretty stable on it's feet even on the display stand, but I still get paranoid that it's gonna tip over and smash into million pieces while...
So I'm wondering what the function of the clear rod for the stand is - am I just suppose to lean the figure against it for support? Is that all it does?
ahh this figure is coming at a really bad time for Canadians :thud: with our dollar going down the toilet, but I don't even care just happy to get the figure. I suppose it's good to get it now than later when the dollar goes down to 50 cents US :slap regardless the exchange rate and customs fee...
My main takeaway from the trailer is how amazing the MK 46 armor looks !!! I thought it would just be repaint of MK 45 but it looks a lot different somehow, very sleek but not as organic looking. I'm also glad that the suit doesn't light up like Christmas tree like in the concept art, at least...
I'm wondering how far the shoulder pads can be tucked in on this figure. From looking at the proto the shoulder pads can REALLY go in and be completely flush with the biceps, as seen in this video: I really liked that about the 1/4 version but looking at the final release photos the shoulder...
To me mark VI is the pinnacle of IM design. Would love to see it in 1/4 now that mk 43 has turned me onto quarter scale figures and seeing the level of quality that is possible.
