This past Antietam event was sponsered by two different organizations, the first being more authentic and rules of uniforms and such being very much enforced. (Maryland My Maryland) and the other one a week latter. The second one was not as tightly regulated as the other one and at certain...
Hi Blue Devil I agree with you 100% about the Civil War figures, being the 150th Anniversary. I went to the 150th Antietam this past Sept. One of the best event I've participated in. ( The Maryland My Maryland event)
As far as the Battle of the Leige figure you will not be disapointed...
Hi All,
Just recieved the figure released by Time Walker and Cal Tek. It is the first in a series of WWI figures. The quality of the figure is what would be considered museum quality. All of the equipment that comes with the figure is functional down to the smallest of detail.
The rifle is...
It is my opinion that the prices have gotten so out of this word and do not justify the cost that I have decided to stop buying any figures for a while. Perhaps if this trend continues then sales will begin to drop at a rate that the manufactuer's will rethink their prices and come down a bit...
Received this figure in the "weathered" version. There are some innacurate items with this figure, such as the wrong type of boots used in WW1. DiD should do a little more research, however I appreciate what they are tring to do.
The more I look at the figure the more I like it. I guess after looking at the Time Walker/Cal Tek WW1 Imperial German figure I began to compair the two, and thought all the other 1/6th should be of the same quality as the Cal Tek. I should be greatful that DiD has took a chance to produce this...
One of the biggest problems is that the helmet looks like a 1935 helmet with the lugs. Not the right size. These figures from DiD look as though they are rehashes of the SideShow WW1 series called Bayonets and Barbed Wire. I'm not bashing DiD, however I wish they would use more imagination and...
Thank you Lejuan, The British weathered figure looks better in hand than in the picture. It is much better then tring to get all the pouches on a modern military figure. The detail on the figure is amazeing. The cap and shoulder tab insignia are real metal. The diorama is from SideShow...
I bought both version. The weathered version is worth the 20.00 more. The weathered one is done very well and I don't think you would be disapointed. Time Walker Toys has a few of both left. Puting it together is not as bad as you may think.
Have had this figure for a week. VERY good, however, the enfield rifle is described as being made of wood and metal. The rifle stock is made of a heavier type of material like polystone. The other parts are made of metal. Anyone else noticed this?
New WW1 German 1914 infantry soldier from Time walker Toys in partnership with Cal Tek is above even Hot Toys figures. The figure is in the last stages before preorder.

Check out the new figure being relesded by Time Walker Toys and Cal Tek. You can't get
any more detail than this figure. Go to Time Walker Toys for more pictures.
Don't know if anyone cares, but Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter)will star as Paul Bauer in the remake of the 1930 film, All Quiet on the Western Front. Another remake was made in 1979 with Richard Thomas (John Boy from the Waltins). Filming starts late 2012.
