Also I looked at the Premium Doom and I honestly just do not like it. =\ The guy tried to talk it up with me by saying it has "presence" but I just wasn't feeling it. It wasn't as awesome as doom sitting on a chair in deep thought mode. haha. I will NOT be buying the Premium statue...

So I went to comic con and inquired a lot about the Legendary Doom statue... This is what I got from one of the guys who worked on the statue... (I think he was the development supervisor but I could be wrong....) - Doom is 100% covered in armor. Even what you cant see under his tunic is...

It would be really nice if they threw in some kind of bonus for preordering. lol. Maybe a set of doom banners like in the photos.

If the doom PF is modeled after that hidden drawing in a vid that someone caught some pages back, the doom will be holding a chalice in a grand toast like position. Still I'd totally buy it. haha.

I like how Sideshow says "Limited Edition" and yet never posts just what the edition size is. Basically means it could technically be an unlimited edition until they get sooo tired of making them that they finally stop or the company goes under, or an earthquake swallows up the company office...

Re: New Doom PF? I'd like to point out that in that sketch... it looks as if he's holding a Chalice in his hand. The LSF does not have him holding anything. A toast with Doom? Hell Yeh! Toasting to the demise of thine enemies!

After I put in my flexpay order for this statue, I decided it was all I need. lol. Time to sell off the rest of my vast collection of Hot Toys, Sideshow Toys, & Comic Con toys. My life is now completed. lol.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF! I rarely post on this forum but here is my humble opinion on the matter.... Clearly an Edition Size would be nice, but if they put an edition size they would just encourage dealers to hoard the statues and force values to skyrocket. A few benefit while those who wanted one...

Re: Dr. Doom LSF! I've seen it in person upfront during Comic Con 2012 & 2013. Its an amazing piece but the armor does look a little bulbie. Parts of it look a little too rounded like bubbles. Aside from that a fantastic piece! I'd love to own one but I wonder how it will withstand against...
