I cancelled my pre-order, the videos are swaying me a bit, but the thick legs/ankles bother me the most. Like that one review said, it does look like it's wearing sleeves and pants.
I do love the look of the face from certain angles. I'm just sticking with the Kotobukyia for now, I'm trying...
Yep, still waiting every week. Ok, time to do something cool Boba. Please, do something cool already.
Almost making me want to cancel the preorder of SH Figurarts new armor Boba. Maybe the Mafex versions will do fine for now.
They're the best renditions of him in 6" form hands down for me, great details and proportions. You realize how small the heads/helmets are on the Black series next to these.
This is a great price. I got the ESB one at release, but had to do the aftermarket markup for the RoTJ version...
I'm glad they're re-releasing the Tusken Raider, IMO, he's one of the best renditions they've made. Spot on to the original art and pose from the 1977 carded one.
That Tusken and the Mafex Boba Fett are my favorite SW figures I have.
I did the same with the Death Trooper, bought the 3 pack...
I'm such a sucker for Alien figures I'm sure I'll get it. I like how they hid the joints. Reminds me a bit of the old Medicom one. Some details are off, but I really like the skull/head shape. Dome needs to be customized and darkened up a bit.
It'll be an interesting side by side next to...
OH MY GOD! IN! I loved these as a kid and tracked down a few of them on ebay a couple of years ago.
Awesome that they were based on old 50s sci-fi b-movies.
My favorite is the orange Tree Monster from "So I Married A Monster From Outer Space". I used to call him Blobman as a kid.
I found the Jawa yesterday at WalMart. LOVE IT! I wish it had the regular yellow eyes, but I really dig the cloth, mostly due to the color. Finally NOT an orange Jawa figure. Now it looks like it should straight from the movies. It pairs great with the Tusken Raider.
I had the Medicom RAH Big Chap. Sculpt was great, paint was bare bones (AKA pretty much missing) and the hands were static. But it was impressive. I wish I would have kept it. And the Marmit statues, loved those original versions.
Hello! I haven't posted on this forum in about 9 years. Had kids, stopped collecting for a while, all of that. Hello again Abake, great pics and poses by the way!
Anyway got the Mafex figure about two weeks ago. Was super excited about it, but that's kind of faded since I got the Kotobukiya...
I'm tracking some of my old favorites. This site is GOLD for MUSCLE stuff, great pics, full names of all of them, and even showcases rare ones.

And I completely forgot about that Godzilla, wow! :yess:
Haven't seen one of those in...
Re: Official Alien Prequel/Prometheus Discussion Thread
And as I said before that's the key. I have faith it can appease Fox and be PG-13 while sill having Scott have his way with it, keep it horror based, amp up the anticipation like in the first, build suspense, scare the bejesus out of...
