Not a fan at all of Nu Hu, but good job.
Could you not have just modified the existing suit rather than using that single-breasted, though? I mean, he did have a double-breasted jacket on the show.
Re: Another Eagles Dare, dio with custom sculpts.
Nice dio! And 'Where Eagles Dare' is certainly a timeless classic. If only there were at least headsculpts of Ingrid Pitt and Ferdy Maine.
I thought I saw everything but this just takes the biscuit. I give my kudos to such worthy figures. The best custom figures I have seen so far too. :horror
I agree, he is certainly the best there is. Lonnie's sculpt was great, but I preferred the expression on the Farrow figure. Out of the three Farrow versions of GBU figures, he is by far the best, followed by Lee Van Cleef (it is a toss-up between Lonnie and Farrow's head for me...though Farrow's...
Can't wait to see it, and I am sure the paintjob is better than I can do (though I did some minor works on a few Franco-ized PE Draculas which came out OK). I have never extended bodies before for the fear that I'd mess them up. The only reason the Dracula I customized is taller is because the...
Pretty great sculpt. And it is worth noting that this Dracula is a 'Dracula Prince of Darkness' figure specifically:
I should get round to posting my old Father Sandor kitbash soon! :)
I am sure he looks great. Actually, I should have worded that better, I meant to say that I think Premium Format figures look very wonderful, but I find the size of them to be too big for my liking... I mean I'd hate to only get one or two PF figures, but if I had more than two they'd take up...
Yeah, Steve Thompson actually sculpts some nice busts, especially his 1:1 Dracula headsculpt. I think 1/6 is somewhat new for him, so I am impressed. Hope big companies snap him up rather than just relying on computer printed heads.
It is OK, espeically for the price and I am a fan of William Marshal so I'll deffinitely get it. Hoping for that Vincent Price Presents figure, especially as he is in Regency era fashion.
If I get an extra of any of the three Dracula sculpts - preferably the neutral - I'm determined to do this. I think, with the right paint finish, it can be done with something like green stuff (to make the eyelids).
Did you modify the head to fit a Sideshow body like I had done?
I kindly...
This figure is great with a bit of customizing.
Here is what I did:
PE Dracula head inserted onto a classic Sideshow body, with the PE Dracula feet attached to the Sideshow foot pegs. He stands around 12.5"
Just after taking these images I modified the coat to be more accurate (only one...
I remember the Sideshow T-800. In some regards I preferred it because one of my main criticisms of HT is their cold sculpts. That is a small criticism, though, the pricing is something that really is a problem though.
Obviously the HT T-800 figure is better as a whole, it costs a hell of a lot...
