I have the regular Medicom figure... I really like it. I guess it's not technically a replica of the filming prop (due to the different, longer-lasting materials being required in a collectible), but I think it's a good approximation.
I received mine on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it arrived completely missing one finger and with another broken off. When you've spent $190AUD, that really kills your enthusiasm.
I've emailed the person I bought it from as well as Hot Toys. Hopefully one of them will help.
Anyway, today I was a...
Re: Official Terminator thread.
Thanks for the response. I think I might just go with the regular Endo. The BD is at a price level which just doesn't some worth it. Even though I can afford it, I'd still feel guilty paying so much for just a paint app and a base.
Also, I'm thinking of getting...
Re: Official Terminator thread.
Hi guys.
Just how different is the paint-app on the battle damaged Endo? I'm trying to decide whether it's worth the cash over the 'regular' Hot Toys Endo.
My concern is that the regular Endo may be too 'clean', without any blackwashing, etc. Is this true? Or...
Re: Official Terminator thread.
I want to get the hot toys endo but I can't decide whether or not to get the battle damaged one. I don't want to pay a ridiculous amount in the event that it becomes more widely available, but from what I've seen the extra paint ap and base look pretty cool...
Finally got around to buying one of these. $160USD delivered to Australia. I haven't seen one in person, but I have seen the Santa Jack so I know it'll be good.
Re: Official Terminator thread.
Does anyone have the final world on availability? Is the non-battle damaged version 'unlimited'? And how many is the battle-damaged limited to? 100 for 'blister' in Japan, but any outside of there?
Thanks...
I agree with whoever said that Buffy with stake is a must. I'm suprised by the high demand for 'Chosen' Buffy with Scythe. In my opinion at least, that's a figure from the weakest period of the show. But I guess a lot of the people voting were fans of the later seasons versus the newer ones (I...
Best of luck at DC Andy! Your CSM is still one of my very favourite figures. Over time I've found 'human figures' less and less appealing, because I always expect a 100% accurate minature. But with CSM you really nailed it.
Does it get much better than this? I don't think so. And the production...
I'm looking forward to your thoughts/photos :D.
When I saw the NBX making of back in 93/94 I was fascinated by the bit on Jack's animation, with the multiple heads etc. So I've definitely got a long-time desire to own a decent Jack like this, but I just need to see if it's as good as I hope...
I just rewatched Corpse Bride last night after rewatching NBX a few days ago.
Technically (i.e. the animation and design) in Corpse Bride is fantastic. But the plot just isn't as enganging or anwhere near as relateable as NBX. There just doesn't seem to be much 'point to the story'.
Obviously...
Yeah, the Bride looks fantastic.
I'm definitely interested in getting some of the Jun Planning Corpse Bride but I just have to figure out which characters and which version of the characters. And then I have to decide whether to collect any more of the McFarlane stuff.
Does anyone know if...
