Hmm - I didn't know that additional padding was even an option. But for $20 shipping, I expect more padding than nothing and a bigger shipper (I don't care about the condition of the shipper, but the tighter the shipper to the box, the higher the risk of damage) and an appropriately sized box...

I would argue that toys could be investments. I don't buy them for that reason. I buy them because they make me happy. But I do get a lot of satisfaction out of a pristine box. They do such an amazing job with the packaging; they should take pride in shipping the figure to protect the box...

I tend to agree with one of the previous comments - if I'm dropping $200 on a figure, Sideshow should be packaging the figure in a box that's appropriately sized with some bubble wrap to protect the box. The display is beautiful; a dent in the corner of the box bothers me, but I'm not gonna go...
