Amazing, what did you use for the leaves in the last photos?

Just opened mine, after a looooong week at work and.... broken top of the back pack. otherwise I am super happy with how he looks in hand. it really is a nice blend of Ep 3 and Ep 4. I may try to track down another head to put on my General Kenobi from back in the day.

Very excited to finally add Tarkin to my display. It seems we may be back in the ages of no Pre-Order and your off to eBay or other 3rd party sellers. I hope he is the start of other uniformed imperials at perhaps a one a year pace but something new to add to our cases.

Well canceled my waitlist with sideshow at this point I doubt it would have converted. And found a Tarkin for $270 shipped so I jumped on that vs the eBay prices. Only had a little bit of time with him and he lives up to the hype. And is a solid addition to the empire.

Anyone else on the wait list? Or anyone hear of a 2nd batch. Starting to worry I’m going to have to head to eBay or 2nd hand market for Tarkin.

Got on wait list but, crap. Wish I wasn’t waiting on points. Now waitlisted points can’t be used anyway. Let this be the lesson don’t wait to order the top tier figures. You never know when they will disappear.

Has anyone used this body for other figures? I’m wondering how out of scale other heads might look. Clothing can add some bulk and hide the over all size difference. Tailoring would need to be adjusted but the body is really the harder part.

Here is the model all painted with a bit of weathering. compared to the original hasbro. the SS looks really good but i'm enjoying the challenge of building a custom on the cheap.

That looks just like the one I got it comes in about 15 pieces. the stock is completely separate and has pretty good detail. I’m in the process of repainting it to give it more depth and bring out the detail but I got mine for less than a dollar shipped from China.

I found a 1/6 MG42 “kit” on eBay it came in about 15 pieces not bad for painting up and even removing the stock for a more accurate look. bottom is. The old 2002 hasbro.

This little guy is great. Just had time for some quick shots but I can tell he’s going to be fun to keep on my desk and play with. He just looks good with everything.

I’d be excited to see the detolf version on a top shelf then the hot toys bespin Luke hanging from the weather vein on the next lower shelf.

I really do enjoy this figure it is large and a significant feature of my display. Very happy with how it turned out. Would have liked the base to be a little shorter and wider to accommodate more figures on display with it. But over all very happy.
