I agree, considering animals of that size would be slightly bulkier than people I think they look right in place.

Why have they made the batman so plain looking in comparison to the awesome joker they made?

Joker has more detail to his costume then Batman does... that said, Joker, Harley and Bud & Lou have way more detailed bases then any of the other upcoming statues, Batman seems really plain with just the roof... I wish Tweeterhead would of put more thought into their bases so they were as detailed as Joker & Harley's bases..

Agree completely.

Entertainment Earth is blowing out Supergirl for $104 shipped.

While a lot of people, myself included, aren't too keen on the portrait, overall this is a nice statue. As with anything in three dimensions, lighting and the primary viewing angle from which you display it can go a long ways to making a more positive impression.

At just over $100, I think a lot of people will be happy with the deal when they have it in hand.

Wow! ...That was a great price!

Not surprised it already sold out at Entertainment Earth.

After the shambles with super and and WW, I’m concerned about my PO for batman. I contacted TH and they said they expected it to ship direct from them early March.

It's hardly shambles. It's one guy with a defect on Wonder Woman. Superman has a cape issue, and some people have reported sloppy paint. Chad's already stated he will take care of the cape issue, like he did on the Harley head problem. He's reported the sloppy paint to the factory and they are addressing it. He's also said several times in several places if anyone has issues or defects to contact him and Debbie. His customer service has been nothing but A+ in communication, and getting the issues fixed.

They've released 4 statues in this line so far with the last two being home runs. They've released the 66 Batman series, Munsters and other lines with little to know problems, some like Munsters with universal praise. One statue has a issue, the other has one guy with a defect and suddenly the sky is falling.

You really should know by now that it's best to wait until you have your item in hand before you jump on the band wagon.

Thanks for clarifying Kebron.

I love Tweeterhead, and I’m buying most of this line, but let’s not pretend these problems are all meaningless. Sure, TH replaced the damaged Harley portraits, but it took 6 months. Should we expect the same long wait for replacement capes for Supes? Are those of us that enjoy looking at our statues up close just supposed to grin and bear the seam on Wonder Woman’s neck?

I’m happy to be a cheerleader for Tweeterhead when they deserve it, but the last few production reveals have not brought sunshine and rainbows.

They replaced the damaged parts, that's the key part there that you are glossing over, they could of ignored the problem all together, or give the customers the run around, we've all seen companies do that before TH didn't do that. Would you rather wait 6 months, or not get a fix at all? They have to book time at a factory and then factory has to setup to make the fixes, then those fixes has to be approved and QC, to get the problem fixed, plus they have to be shipped to the states, and then shipped to us, that's not something that just happens overnight. Taking all that into consideration 6 months isn't a unreasonable time to wait.

The world is not perfect and no company can have perfect results every time. Compare the errors to the number of statues that they released with no such issues, if it was a string of statues, yeah the comments would be worth it, but this is all over pics of one defective statue (WW) and a handful of Superman statues (so far). The fury and worry is not warranted yet.

I’m not “glossing over” anything. I came right out and said it. As for whether I’d rather wait 6 months or not get a fix at all, I’d rather the problems never existed to begin with. Like any other company, Tweeterhead makes mistakes. I see no reason not to call them out on those errors like we do with any other company.

I'm not saying to not call them out, I'm saying WAIT till we have more problems then a handful of Superman statue pics, and one WW pic. A handful of pics is not a problem especially if it falls into the norms of expected errors occurred during mass production.

You totally glossed over their replacement by saying but. You acknowledged a positive and then immediately discounted the positive by asserting the 6 months is to long to wait. Anything after the word but is the point that a person is trying to get across, everything before that is there as fluff to soften the blow, thus glossing over.
