BTW, what is that forest base you have? Looks so much better than the one that came with my first release... Is it custom?

Can anyone tell me if there were any changes to the rerelease of the bike? Anything different? And do people know of any differences between the original and the rereleasing biker Scout?

I have just ordered both the bike and the scout... f... Hot Toys [emoji6] ...nah, but I really don’t think that HT will ever do the bike and I really dig the SSC scout, flaws or not, and the greenish weathering is fantastic. Also, if HT releases one, you can also have two scouts and they’ll be a bit different from each other. All good.

Assemble it with care. If handles are bent, use a hairdryer to fix them.

Oh you are so damn right... Problem about troopers is that you need 2 of them to have a credible scene. I was in fact expecting to buy 2 HT Scouts, but silly me, it is better 2 have one from each. Problem: outrageous prices... How much had you to shell out for yours?

And what flaws are you talking about? Are they severe? :-(((

Yes, I think it makes sense. Troopers are humans and they won’t look the same, have the same weathering and so forth.
The flaws are stuff that people have mentioned here, some small inaccuracies in the helmet and knee pads. And the body beneath isn’t that good. But if you use him on the bike, like I will, it’s good.
I paid about €75 less than what it will cost for the speeder bike and a preorder of the scout here in Europe. But since this set was like new I might as well skip the wait and save a bit of money.

I have read the Crawford review. Oh boy what a messy figure...

- Black line going down the middle of the chest, what for?
- Ankle gun has too tiny handle.
- Boots are way too big.
- Cummerbund is inacceptably clean.
- Helmet has coarse, unaccurate edges.
- Fit is bad, torso armour rides up.
- Usual SSC problems (bad and skinny body, etc).

Can you guys confirm all of this? Are there any fixes?

What’s the consensus on this piece? Worth having, piece of crap, or what? Kinda pondering it but not sure. I have the Scout from Sideshow already which I feel would benefit from this. I probably will also grab Endor Luke and Leia if they’re ever made.

I’m personally very happy with it
